Cross up HK is a no no, saw people getting poked out of it often, works really well in combos

no one used f+MP <-- not sure why i stuff a lot Ken Flaming SRKs with it in STHD, not sure if works in SF4
no one used f+FP <-- another good 1 when mixed with f+mp (in STHD anyways) always sets me up with a grab or another(50/50 chance with this one can really hurt if guessed wrong).

Valle seemed to like his sweeps alot. not sure if he was rusty or was really using them. Saw ken player really start to fear them.
saw this one guy do F,N + HP,D,DF + HP <-- does alot of damage. and he did it consecutively,fuck i can only do this in practice 1 out of 10 times nvm a real match.
ultra trades with jp. RH 50/50
fireballs seem to be abusable in this game, saw them used a lot, dont have to be as precise as in ST, seemingly so.
and again lots of cr. mp <-- never knew this was such a good poke. will give this a try in STHD.
edit : also, question, will a jp. MP beat M. Bisions Head Stomp.
I remember seeing in the E3 trailer Ryu linking his Jumping RH (or was it MK?) Into his ultra, I didn’t think it was going to be THAT easy to pull ultras off.
BTW, do they have specific names for the Ultras? I’m getting confused when people refer to Ryu’s Shinkuu Hadouken since his ultra is… Well, Shinkuu Hadouken…
probably jumping rh into ultra but nothing like crouching medium or standing heavy to ultra. i dont think anyone in the game can do regular attack buffered or specials canceled into an ultra.
At this stage, the following Ryu combos are apparently the most useful (based on Japanese forum discussions). Take note that Ryu’s light attacks follow ST style cancellation rules, so most combos that start off of them involve links.
Crouching LK–>crouching LP, link into HP Shoryuken (–> Shinkuu Hadouken–>Ultra)
Crouching LK–>crouching LP, link into crouching MP–> HP Hadouken (–> Shinkuu Hadouken–>Ultra)
LP Shouryuken, then juggle with Shinkuu Hadouken
EX Shoryuken, EX Dash Cancel forward dash, juggle with Ultra Combo or EX Hurricane Kick
F + MP, link into crouching LP–>HP Shoryuken (–> Shinkuu Hadouken–>Ultra)
Some insane scaling in those Ultras, they did like same damage as a medium normal or something? Guess you could expect it though, since Guile already had low health and they were used in combos.
