I’d agree with this statement, but only partly. It’s better to use IB in most situations, because DA’s cost 2 levels of Defensive Gauge, and they often do very little damage. Kaya’s DA is good because you can interrupt combos, but if you’re just trying to get out of a block string or pressure, go with the IB.
As for Kaya’s super, I know that there are overheads, at least in the first game they were. Also for all the Kaya players, I can’t confirm this, but you can try cancelling into Kaya’s aerial slash move to end an air combo for extra damage. It might be too slow, but try it anyways.
www.rumblefish2.com has one Sheryl match. You can also go to romancancel.com for some of j1n’s Sheryl and SkuldnoShinpu’s Kaya. They only have vids from the first game, however.
