It’s not her moral standing I like. I just like how she’s so damn happy about everything. It’s contagious. <:X
I mean, Hwoarang ain’t no goody-goody and he’s my favorite Tekken char.
On my end: I honestly HATE when my dad calls for me when I’m in the middle of a ranked match. He always does it. Worst of all, even if the wait can be as short as 2 minutes, it’s not enough. I pretty much have to forfeit the match because he might want to hand me a spiral, or tell me something, or ask me what I want for lunch, or something trivial that, in all honesty, could easily wait two freaking minutes. I feel like at a certain point, he alone has accounted for a decent number of loses. It’s annoying to deal with, especially when it’s a match I can win.
There’s no confirmation on further boost chain nerfs…
I don’t even think you can boost chain with significant gaps in between like that. Maybe whiff a move or poke a bit before starting, but when you start a boost chain, you’re in it to win (lose) it.
Bc have unreversable gaps in them. Which is things like hwo’s tekken strings canceled into bc sweeps is unreversable, despite having small gaps between the tekken string and the sweep. If I get the proper read, I should be able to reversal through it, not be forced to block it.
So? Bison is Bison. Yeah…stmk hk is vastly unpunishable by the a lot of the cast but it’s a true BS with no gaps…unlike hwo where his has gaps but the only thing you can do is block…which is dumb. I should be able to reversal through it and smack him upside the head for using that derpy stuff. You can’t even CA (counter-attack) properly. I have to sit there and wait for him to finsh his Bc chain…I don’t agree with that.
F all that, after hwo does mp mp sweep just use bison’s boost chain, they will get scared to do it again…unless they want to die a horrible death that is
No, that’s not how it works. There’s no gap to begin with. I can’t delay the sweep after Hwo’s mp > mp. I either do the sweep, do Chainsaw, or don’t do anything, then sweep. There’s no real delaying I can do with that chain. Maybe some of the other characters have some, but that one doesn’t work that way.
Now THAT is a different case. Not sure what that’s supposed to be specifically, but it’s probably part of how the game works. It’s still a block string, but because you move from “target combo” to “boost chain”, the game stops blocking because it already blocked “target combo” for you. It isn’t a gap more than it’s you not starting to block the next part of the block string.
Yes. The reason you get hit is because sweep hits low, so you need to at least hold down to block it. I can basically say this for all sweeps (Boost Combo included) in this game, save a few exceptions.
I don’t think anyone understands what I’m trying to say. say hwo does mp mp, BC sweep. Ok there is a gap between the last mp and the sweep…normally any gap is reversalable…but not things cancel into Bc’s some certain special moves…the gap is there…but you can only block…and nothing else.
Oh I see. Well, then “true blockstring” answers your question.
You’re still in blockstun even though there is a few frames of time until BC comes out, so normally you are not able to reversal. Example would be Juri’s normal cancel into her fireball. There certainly are some gaps in between but you cannot reversal in between. It’s something that every character has. Heck if you can reversal in between every string with a gap that is what everyone would do.
