Managed to play against someone really solid, asked for a lobby and waited for my turn. Got beat soundly the first match no problem.
Now I spectate the match and here comes Hawaii lag causes the match the run at half speed. Match is about the end and I got kicked probably because the match was long done and they were tired of waiting
20 mbps connection no packetloss fuck hawaii lol. Being stuck playing against 1 bar players is frustrating enough.
On the flip side I play Yoshi/kuma sooooâŚonce kuma gets the knockdown itâs rage worthy for the opposing side. Karma I guess
nah, psn is fine. Just search for people playing on ps3 only instead of ps3 + vita (itâs a search parameter)⌠vita users will warp on you 90% of the time.
Get PSN over PC and donât screw yourself over by getting the PC version.
No offense to PC version users, but I think PSN is probably the healthiest variant of the game right now.

Now for my rant: Some jerk had the audacity to taunt me while I was training with Elena (itâs pretty much a day 1 Elena, mind you). I won the first time, but he did it again and made me hold the L. Honestly, I couldâve used my main team and have been up in his shiz, but I was forcing myself to work things out with Elena.
Speaking of which, sheâs better than Paul for me, but itâs rough. Rhino Horn whiffs on crouch opponents, but itâs also her strongest combo option. Iâm not using Spin Scythe enough, seeing how it hits people that are crouching and serves as a safe tag option. I think I was ok for a day one sort of thing, but I was mad salty when I was losing, cause I hate losing without using my main team/character in fighting games.
Still, I love how Elena doesnât entirely suck in this game. Sheâs not amazing by any means, but Iâd take her over Christie, imo. Sheâs legitimately solid for once.
God Im too used to 3S Elena where her special moves were ass and just her normals were good. I think I lost 20 matches to this one elena in lobby with my yoshi/kuma. I couldnât find a gap to punish her pressure, felt really safe and I couldnt really get her off. Then when she landed a hit, it actually hurt lol.
Only thing I knew for sure was that I could use Yoshiâs amazing normals to poke Elena out of rhino horn at mid range. Going to look up her frame data and do research. Never got blown up so bad.
Anyone with tips on the matchup would be appreciated.

Not as big as a blow up but fought my first âI dont give a fuck; just do itâ Law. God damn lol. Luckily I got a read on the first 2 I met and knew he was going to give me the EX I dont give a fuck after finishing his block string. Even luckier that I decided to block 2 more times after the first one failed.
Then I knocked him down and tried to do Kumaâs crossup and got AAâd. Welp.
PSN is doing fine definitely better than the overall experience on PC at least. I also think it has the highest playerbase. So unless you are just ranting I call BS.
Iâm a xbl player FYI. No bias at all.
Though it can be hard to find matches at certain times of day.
