There’s a cap on how many “trial gold accounts” you can do. Unless you are willing to pay cash to troll (which at the end of the day, you are a big loser for doing that) that isn’t as big of an issue. Not to say these issues are non existing on XBL but they are obviously less present. I can tell you…I always rank up every time I play on XBL and I enjoyed grinding there.
Everytime, I play on PSN. I always end up:
a) Salty
b) ripped off
c) with an intense headache.
d) all of the above
I like my PS3, but I really dislike PSN. man. The only reason I am still playing is to get to B plus on PSN. Something that was relatively easy to obtain on XBL. And also I hop on PSN to play with my PSN friends and fight against cool peeps like you Sucks that I won’t be able to play Tatsu since he is west coast. Although I am willing to try.
I play Tatsu without much lag. Sure sometimes there will be random input delay but that’s the nature of online. He’ll still destroy me with or without input delay. I was pretty salty after getting beaten by a Blanka and Guile team earlier tonight. I lost only because input delay reared its ugly ass head right as I went for an anti-air on Guile. Oh well I got my revenge the next time I saw them and needless to say it wasn’t even close. I honestly hate how risky anti-airs are in this game, something you don’t have to deal with in Tekken.
Also on Street Fighter. I recognize you come from a tekken background and I am a Street Fighter player. Anti Airing on regular SF titles ( I consider SFxT its own series not a pure Street Fighter game) is definitely stronger. At least Ryu’s DP was stronger back in some older titles lol. However, his mexican uppercut (Cr. Fierce) definitely was buffed on this game so its a ghetto AA but gets the job done. But its still not the best.

Ah gosh speaking of bad AA’s, have you seen how much rape happened to Sakura’s Cr. Fierce? holy crap, I was on Xbl for like a day playing AE and man it was godly. SfxT…not so much.
Her Cr. Hp is not even worth doing in this game, like wtf no combo potential and absolutely no damage. Sakura has some good pokes and mashable normals but damn they kinda got her fucked up in this game. I really want to learn her but she feels so weird.
Is her cr.mk still a decent poke? I remember when I used her in SF4 I used that and cr.mp more than her cr.hp (which I only really used as an anti-air).
It still is as far as I can see. Her ABC chain pushes her opponent back far enough to be somewhat safe on block. Her cr. lk’s are good pokes since they’re up there with Chun-Li’s.
She’s a bit strange to play because you have to time her dp’s if you’re using them in a combo where you dp them out of the air, I still mess that up so I try not to use them too much. It’s always fun throwing out her hadokens and then charging one, jumpers always fall for that one haha!
For some reason her st. mp is really sad when the opponent is spaced just right, it will literally wiff while st. lp doesn’t. if I’m forced to ABC someone, it’s usually with mk in place of mp for that reason. Her mk is pretty good if you can get em in -> launch. I like to mk>shunpu tag and random shenanigans with Asuka -> grab. It’s always a good way to reset the momentum if you’re getting pressured to death (which I’m particularly good at).
I’m not sure what to say to you EMR, im not your kid sweetheart. If you feel that way about the playstation community you really wouldn’t like it here on xbox. On playstation you only have to worry about tatsu and a select 5 people. On xbox there is 100’s of people willing to throw you away to make you feel “salty”, “ripped off”, and give you “headaches”. I encountered bunnycap visiting xbox at D rank (didnt know it was him at the time) and I thought he’d be free DLC character combo practice, he blew me up in the 3rd round with lili and I lost 100 points. I didn’t cry about it, in fact the first thing I did was send him a message telling him his lili was amazing and we ended up in endless battle ripping each others heads off in good fun (great lili experience btw bunnycap no one plays her on xbox). I don’t even own a playstation I was over my coworkers house when I was playing on your network. I recognized you and was excited to play because you talk a lot on here. No offense but you got blown up while I was using a playstation controller, to say the least I was extremely disappointed.
Omg I would pay to see that…$8.95 of course! I got my money on Tatsu, why? Because he’s an absolute freak of nature with psychic powers backed up by supercomputer data storage.
The defense force is strong but I’m sure tatsu is strong as well. The only advantage I say we have is embarrassing people with hidden shenanigans technology (we dont care win or lose). Jibboz lobbies are “hype” we double KO and double timeout. I remember there was a random dhalism player that came in talking crap while poking full screen sliph got angry and showed us hidden full screen grab technology with ibuki. Dhalism was trying to poke from him from full screen to cause a timeout (end result dhalism got sucked into ibuki’s command grab full screen and died lololol best ever). I wish silph got more credit for being an amazing/fun player.

i’m personally finding it much much easier to rank up on PSN. XBL has way better competetion. So once I get A+ or master depending on how long it takes I’ma just go back to XBL
Once you hit B+ or A, it gets considerbly more difficult to rank up on PSN. Trust me on that one, I made a second account on PSN because my friends list filled up and I ranked up to B+ in a single day. Once I hit B+ I was facing off against my old enemies again and it was just filled with randomness and other bs all over again.
I kinda go through that as well and I’m only a C+.
Is it bad that I deliberately make my ranking up to B Rank harder on myself because I deliberately search for people who have WAY more points than me online?
not at all, I’m barely making my way back to C and I’ve learned way more playing with the folks from SRK than the billion and a half matches I’ve had going from D+ - C and back
Truth of the matters is I hate the level of randomness and idiots that play on PSN. Also PSN lags a little bit more or should I say I find better connections on Live. The best connection I have ever have on PSN is against Songi. I have leveled up quicker on Live even though the competition is tougher. I guess shitty players make me play shittier I suppose. I hate dumbing my game now. Whatever.
I am not salty at the loss. I just hate how much im risking versus a D Rank troll account. Its not worth the effort. Its like money matchinga guy and I get 10 bucks if I win and a I gotta give him a 100 if I lose. Aint that some bullshiiiiiiit.
