Jesus Christ…when I listen to this and compare it with the garbage out now, I want to cry. OMG music like this is just so good. I have memories to this stuff. I remember I was about 10 and living in San Diego and my mother and I went to the park and she brought a boom box and turned this on and I was just so happy. Joe’s newest CD is nice, with one exception…I do not like his cover of “Can’t Get Over You.” I am a fiercely loyal fan of Frankie Beverely and Maze, even though I’m only 25, and I don’t like their music being redone. However, other than that, Joe’s disc is nice. The one before this one was quite nice as well.
Yeah, given the economic climate in this country, he could have given us a few more songs - but then again his discs were always short on songs. The album is great though. “Pretty Wings” is the best song on the album, but that’s like picking the best looking Victoria’s Secret model, everything’s great. You should definately give that man his $12.99. BTW, I think it’s on sale this week at target for $10.99.
