So…has anyone had a problem with a Q4RAF just not working, like at all?
I just received mine in the mail. Plugged it into my PS3…nothing. No lights come on, the PS3 doesn’t respond at all, and nothing happens when I push any of the buttons.
So I plugged it into my Xbox 360 - Same thing.
As a last resort I plugged it into my PC…zip. Nada. Zilch.

Could I be the lucky winner of a very expensive paperweight? Has anyone else had this problem and know a way to fix it (besides going inside the thing and soddering as I’ve never done that before)?

please check USB Cable.maybe usb cable plug for mainboard loose.

The first stick I ever bought was a Qanba stick, I think its v2. Seimitsu stick and clear seimitsu buttons. I have a TE stick aswell. Have to admit the case for the Qanba stick is built alot more solid than the TE. Good quality stick all round. I need a a template for the v2 stick to modify the artowork, Ive only been able to find the v3 and 4 ones though. Anyone got an idea where I could find a art template?

Hi,

I recently purchased a Q4 3-1, and I’m having problems with my PS3. Like others have experienced, I get random disconnects after a few minutes of play, almost as though the USB cord is being pulled out. I’ve actually tried two seperate Q4s, and both had the same issue dissconecting from my PS3. For those that have had this problem, is there any fix? I love the feel and features of the stick, so it would be a shame to have to return it.

ps, I’ve been using a TE stick since they came out with no problems, and the Q4 behaves the same regardless of which USB port it’s plugged into.

Just thought id post after seeing a few problems with the Q4RAF appearing here.
I bought a Q4 from the 3rd batch and apart from the xbox live chat issue im still very very impressed with this stick and since getting it ive given my TE to my brother.
Every email ive sent to Qanba/xianglong regarding any issues has been answered promptly and i get the impression they are trying very hard with regards to customer service and its among the best ive ever encountered.
Its a shame to see people having issues with lose connections as mines never missed a beat and in my opinion its the best out there.

So I just ordered a brand new extremely hard to find Q3 EMP earlier today & all this talk about it disconnecting has me concerned. Is this mainly the wireless version with the usb dongle or including the wired sticks as well?!?

Best & quickest way to open it (top or bottom) so I can replace the last 2 buttons for plugs? Thanks!

only very few sticks have a disconnection issue, but at least one case is known of either wireless or wired.

the current sticks all feature a different usb cable that adresses the rare cases where those problems occured.

Thx for the info! Do you know if the Q3 models (specifically the EMP version) have this similar but rare issue?
