If this was the intention by Qanba, then I’m at a loss for understanding why. Not everyone can, nor wants to risk cutting the plexi on their own. I’m one of them, especially not to cut nearly 100 pieces. Doing this with a paper-cutter just isn’t proper. Again, I know you’re trying to make sense of this.
I’ll oblige to keep further conversations by email, but the last email I received from Qanba was an apology for sending the larger plexis in order to clear out their remaining stock, and a request to contact for instructions on how to cut the plexis. It hasn’t left me with confidence that suitable replacements will be considered, but I’ll try again.
anyway I would be able to get one of these sticks anytime soon? every site is either not ordering again for a few weeks or they are selling it for wayyyy to much money and I’d like to get used to it b4 next tournament
New to this thread. I really like the Q4 Qanba stick when it works. I need some help with it.
One of the buttons (I believe its the Roundhouse button by default, cant remember the particular button) didnt work on the PS3, but worked on Xbox 360 just fine.
After tinkering for a bit, and changing the buttons out, now the start button doesnt work on the Xbox side, but works on the PS3, and the roundhouse button doesnt work for both systems. I tried to rewire the grounds and such, but the wires and the QDs broke and im forced to try another means of grounding the buttons. I dont know whats wrong, but after change the grounds and buttons and such, the same problem happens.
Any ideas? Could I have gotten a bad PCB or something?
i think that one of the (grounding) cables may not be connected properly (or the actual wires inside the cable). it could be difficult to help you because the original wires are now broken…
please send this message with pictures of the inside to zhongxianglong@hotmail.com, he will have a look at it and may be able to suggest a solution.
Q4RAF is worth every… freaking… penny. I purchased it off of Video Games New York at Animazement in Raleigh, NC this year (mostly because for some reason all they had was 360 setups and I had only a PS3 stick).
The buttons are responsive, and it’s so easy to mod I immediately changed it to an octogate.
I am 100% happy with my purchase, as it works perfectly on either console.
It has also withstood both insane amounts of use and my rage and is alive and kicking just fine lol
Well, I received my QanBa in the mail on Friday, at least I thought I did. Someone stole it from right out of the mail. Left the QanBa box in the package though, just took everything from inside. I was really angry about it, especially because they are so hard to come by it seems. I spoke to Video Games New York about it, and I am waiting to see what happens. USPS really doesn’t seem to care that it was stolen. I think they took it to be honest but I honestly don’t know. Hopefully something is settled in my favor. I just wanna get a hold of a QanBa soon so I can get to working with it. I hope you all enjoy yours.
Where do you live? In Australia, they always ring your doorbell to see if your home. If you’re not, then they try a few more times and/or then leave the package at your local post office for you to pick up. Simply dumping a package outside your house is pretty irresponsible.
I live on the West Side of Chicago in a secure building. In the states it pretty common to leave packages at the door or on the side of the house. With the exception of packages that you have to sign for, so it really depends on how the package is sent. I have never had this problem before, ever. I think from now on I will make sure that I sign for it because I never wanna deal with this again.
I got trouble with my Qanba Q3 since a month.Sometimes the stick disconnect from my xbox, nothing respond(in game) and some other time the direction(still in game) not working.
Sorry for my rusty english
