the clear plexi is not part of the original package, but an extra purchase. anyhow, that is already quite good as other stick producers don’t offer any kind of “official” clear plexis. gremlin solutions offered a free clear plexi as a goodie for some time. the new batch will not include this goodie any more, afaik.
the templates can be found on the official qanba homepage and facebook page. although the wiring diagramm for the headphone jack is not necessary for new sticks, it surely could also be posted on the facebook page.
jmanDMC:
i am confident that any “defective” (i.e. only too large) plexi will be exchanged.
(only fyi: the fault here is that some of the plexis were cut too large in width. you will realize this when rubbing away the sides with sandpaper.)
there is also eightarc on the west coast, canadianjoysticks in canada, arcadeclub in argentina that i know of.
please wait for LLX to provide additional resellers.
My Q3 wireless appears to have died… I purchased it in September last year and was going strong until today. I’ve tried charging it with the USB cable it came with (like always), but the best response I get is the 4 LED lights blinking for a few seconds then dying again. I’m using on PC if that helps. Can anyone help?
After digging through my stick, I found the rechargeable Lithium-ion polymer battery. I suspect that the battery may be dead and this is the source of my problem? If this is the case, I could easily buy a replacement battery, but the thing is - the battery is connected to this black connector plug and I’m not sure how I’m supposed to connect a new battery to this plug (I have limited modding knowledge). Would it be possible to get a replacement battery IF this is the problem? Had the stick for less than a year…
I believe that we may need some clarification, as part of the translation here is lost. From what I understand:
If the plexi is larger than it should be on the Q4RAF, take a paper-cutting knife (?) and cut the right or left code a few times.
QanBa made a larger plexi to allow for “small clearance”.
QanBa is planning to make some smaller plexis
I’m at a loss here, as I’ve ordered over 100 pieces of the existing plexi. I need some explanation as to what I should do to rectify the situation if all of the plexis I purchased are affected by this problem. Not everyone has a paper-cutting knife, nor wants to risk damaging their plexi by cutting it themselves because QanBa decided to make it larger than required.
Please advise. Both my supplier and I have ordered nearly 500 pieces of the plexi in total.
I’m still at a great loss here: You’re asking me to check over 100 plexis because some are cut larger. You’re also asking me to cut the plexi to size for every one that is larger. I find it unacceptable that I have to check any of the plexis because some are larger than expected, plus cut them in some manner before shipping to paying customers.
I will contact my supplier for replacements. Unless I misunderstood your statement, I am not happy with this at all.
to clarify on the problem production-wise:
if being machine-cut, the plexis will most likely not fit perfectly due to production margins. so the idea behind the tiny bit larger plexis was - if i understood correctly - that the user can cut the plexi manually to perfectly fit his/her own case.
every user that already received a plexi that is bigger and doesn’t want to cut it manually, please write an e-mail to zhongxianglong@hotmail.com.
jaleel:
please contact mr. zhong directly via e-mail to come to a quick solution regarding the unwanted bigger plexis. i am confident that there is a uncomplicated solution that will include replacement plexis.
