Hmm… Just wondering if I get the Qanba stick from playasia would it work with a PAL PS3, thanks.
Katsuna:
This will be no problem.
I don’t hear any informations about a PSN user using a qanba stick has been banned.
if DP->LP and Turbo need on xbox360,i think we will add them in the future.
stick only a controller, have no relationship with PS3 PAL or NTSC.
I have been having issues with my Q4RAF. The entire stick will simply stop working or disconnect/reconnect during play as I will have to hit home in order for the stick to assign a controller on the PS3. At other times the stick completely stops working and won’t work until I unplug and reconnect it. I think in both cases it is the same issue with the stick losing power. This is happening while in PS3/PC mode connected to my PS3. I normally do not play on an Xbox except at gatherings. I have not tested to see if this issue happens on an Xbox.
I have not opened the stick to perform any troubleshooting. I wanted to contact you directly before voiding any sort of warranty to work through this. Please let me know how you would like to troubleshoot.
please check usb wire, open buttom and check USB wire whether loose.
please send me the inner pics.

The DMCA: making consumer electronics worse from inception to the next millennium. Whether it’s an HDD-based media server, a dual-modded fightstick, a videogame console or just the phone you have in your hand, the DMCA can make it work just a little bit worse and cost just a little bit more money. For you.
Q4 question: Is the combination of metal panel and plexi top thick enough to be held in place by screw-in OBSN buttons? I really like the look of a screw-less stick face. (And I’m ok with commissioning a custom Q4-shaped plexi cut without the six screw holes.)
I love my Q4RAF. Everyone that plays on it compliments it, and I saw a lot of people repping at EVO. I had one strange problem with mine: When I first got it, the start button would only work one out of every 15-20 button presses. Somehow though, that issue has cleared up. No playability issues on any system!
Admittedly, I only skimmed this thread, but I was hoping to find a template for alternate art for the stick, or other mods people have done. Where should I look?
the templates can be found on the facebook page of qanba, please also like them ;).
I’m going to be picking one of these up once they become available again and I plan on getting Seimitsu buttons for it as I like their feel better.
Thing is, I’ve never done any kind of customization with fightsticks before. The two colors I want, are only available in the form of the GNC Screw-In buttons. Does that matter at all? Or am I stuck having to get snap-in buttons?
Also, while I’m at it, am I able to swap the colors? I mean, if I get green and orange/yellow (It’s Blanka themed), can I swap I trade the plungers between the two so the colors are mixed? I’ve seen videos of people doing this with Sanwa buttons, but don’t know if it’s possible with Seimitsu.
And finally, how easy is it to install the buttons? I know installing my art is as easy as replacing the face plate it comes with, putting on my printed art, and putting the plexi-cover over it, but what goes in to switching the buttons? Do you just unscrew the bottom panel, unplug the current buttons, then put in the new ones? Easy as that?
yes, it’s that easy. and screw ins will also work.
Iv had my Qanba for a bit and here are a few problems I have with it:
1.Glossy= Crazy hard to clean and makes it real ugly to look at
2.Mic problem mentions before
3.The colours of the letters above the buttons dont match the 360
and a couple things im not sure about:
1.Is the cleaning cloth supplied supposed to scratch the stick or am I being too rough?
Is the washer supposed to scratch the surface under it?
(its my first stick so be nice -_-)
Yeah, the plexi is gunna get light scratches.
Got my q4raf yesterday and I’m very happy with it
None of the ‘flexing’ issue as posted before, plays like a dream, nice and big, nice and heavy, I’m a happy camper
Even the box is pretty cool, nice to get a headset, cloth and hole plugs, plus thanks to gremlin solutions got a free plexi too!
Opened it up, looks super easy to mod art, buttons etc, thanks Quanba and thanks Gremlin
Now, if only I was any good at SF4 things would be great!!
I had a TE stick but broke is…I was going to get another one but seens as this works on all formats I was just going to get this…How similar is it to the TE stick feel? Also not looked yet but what are the size dimensions for the art?
Thanks
^Same since it uses Sanswa parts, I admit the TE does look nicer.
I can’t believe I defending the Qanba
- Gloss? I have the same problems with my PSP its a glossy finger print magnet
- Can’t speak for the Mic as I don’t have the stick. Use a wireless head set.
- Colors don’t match the Xbox 360? Who cares most people are going to replace the art any ways.
All dust washers scratch
Unless the cleaning cloth is a soft fabric or micro fiber it can also scratch
Is there an art template anywhere?
- the Q3 features a piano paint which naturally will cause fingerprints to be seen
- the microphone issue has been solved. please write me a PM if you want to get the workaround
- the cleaning cloth should be a micro fiber; can you send me a picture of the scratches that you are referring to?
thx darksakul for the help
