Well it’s been many months I’ve had my RAF3 and it has gone through A LOT of modifications and it is ow truly my favorite stick ever!

Top rated stick at a competitive price, for those who is interested and will dual mod, go get the Xbox 360 RAF3. It’s wired(with a compartment), possibly cheaper to mod(much like the Empire Arcadia edition) and it has the headphone jack.
Key features I like about the stick:
-felt underplate(no cold thighs while playing on lap)
-included plexi-glass(though there was a print on the back of mine)
-11 LBS stick, the almighty $300 Hori HRAP VLX Premium is only 1 LBS heavier at almost double the size while other sticks are half the weight.
-Clean face design(stick and 8 buttons makes the stick look very clean).
-Turbo mode and inversion mode…I lost these two features from the dual mod but I believe left and right are inverted for sure, if up and down are also inverted, stick can truly be a stick for the left handed.
Rants and gripes:
-I wish there were an additional 4 screws in the buttom so that I won’t have to keep tightening/loosening each screw so the stick won’t wobble on a solid surface. I have a HRAP V3 and they have independent screws for the rubber stoppers so there’s no need to re-adjust.
-Utter useless extra 24mm sanwa button on the left side.
-RAF3 for PS3 has absolutely no way for wired play even though the wireless play is lagless.
-Faux-Taito Vewlix graphic printed right on backside of the plexi-glass…takes the custom graphic option away.
All in all, Qanba’s RAF3 design is my favorite because I don’t find the handle on the Empire Arcadia version very useful(I live in Canada and I am not carrying the stick out without a bag when it’s way below zero degrees celsius out there).

Did you end up using it ontop of under the plexi? Looks good to me, I cant tell if it’s over or under though. Looks really good, the button colors and ball top match the artwork.

Got my Q3 EMP via Play-Asia last week. Great stuff, best box ever. It’s my second stick (I had a totally modded korean one for now), but it’ll soon become my main stick.
I will seriously recommend QanBa.
I decided to use the one without the laminate on top of the plexi, the quality came out much better than I expected and it feels like the print that comes with the HRAP V3/VX sticks so it’ll last a good while before anything will happen. Hats off to Jon/AoBfrost for his dedication of providing a good number of prints for a great price. Anyone in the area or North America in general for graphics with adhesive backing should look into his work!
Sounds like Qanba listens to their costumers so I’m looking forward on the next model as well~

Got my Q3 from kay_nock on Ozhadou forums.
First thing I did was replace the gray Sanwa buttons with with white ones…
Then replaced the artwork, used the stock plexi (Cheers for the second plexi btw!)
It’s an awesome stick, has a nice weight to it and hell easy to mod. Wanted to go for a 6 button layout but the clear plexi was a 8 button one. So I just disconnected the two last buttons.
The cable compartment is a nice touch… Pity about the wire being so short though. Can’t sit on my couch and play it.
Anyway its an awesome stick… looking to dual mod mine in the future.
