If you come ShenZhen , We will invite you coffee?
Hi Ricky, I´m from Portugal, I´m a friend of Emanuel(Skryba), i´ve heard some things about you, like you are the best SSF4 spanish player :wgrin:Good to Know you goes to China, maybe yo can bring one more of these badboys:lovin:
Has anyone with a RAF3(PS3 or 360) tried changing their artwork? It has been brought up here but no confirmation if the Madcatz TE stick is exactly yet…Anyway, props to chowwun, he’s just about done dual modding my stick, unfortunately the PCB in mine either wasn’t a common ground or there was an incompatibility with the other boards he used(which is unlikely seeing how he uses the more popular stuff out there), so at the moment, I’m trying to find sticker paper big enough for the plexi-glass and I’m planning for this to be put on to my RAF3:

If it fits perfectly fine, I will post an update but looking at the pictures of my Qanba and looking back at this template, the Q3 plexi-glass seems waaaaaaay longer than the standard TE stick’s template.
hmm that’s strange, I also have a couple of Q3s and thought they were common ground. I know for sure the wired ones are, my wireless one I haven’t done any mods yet.
Strange, maybe either mine was an odd one or something else. I can’t say it’s chowwun(the person modding mine) since he has done a good number of various sticks.
Oh well, whatever is done is done…I’m kinda curious, is your wireless Q3’s plexi-glass’ graphic printed on the plexi-glass or is separate from it? Just found out in the previous pages and thread that ukyo pointed out that the Q3’s template is different dimensions from the TE stick, good stuff, thanks man.
I’ve heard that the X360 (wired) is, but not too sure about the PS3 (wireless one). I connected the ground from a fightpad PCB to the ground of the Q3 and presto! NOTHING worked. lol. Once I disconnected the ground the PCBS individually worked like a charm. Leads me to believe that Q3 wireless is not common ground.
Yeah the Q3 wireless hasn’t got the clear plexis only the EMP sticks come with clear plexis.
Yeah the wired PCBs are all common ground, I know for sure because I just completed a dualmod with the 360 Q3 using a PS3 Qanba PCB. I am curious now, because I wanted to dualmod my wireless Q3 in the near future. I will definately have a look later tonight.
???qq???[??]???
By the way Chowwun, with syn13’s Q3 Wireless stick when you dualmodded it, did you keep the wireless ps3 capability? or did you just swap out to a different PCB?

??? ??
I originally just put in a fightpad and that didn’t work. So I just put in a chimp instead; replacing the wireless board entirely (but it’s still inside the case) lol.
If you manage to get the dual mod working with wireless, do tell me how you got that to work!
That’s a shame, losing the wireless play.
Lol if I can ever figure it out, I’ll def let you know.
@ Chowwon- I’m sure if you contact Gummowned he would definitely figure out a way to dual wireless mod any stick. He has a “Leo” board made for that purpose.
Hey everyone, I am seriously considering in buying the Q3 fightstick for the xbox 360 from playasia over the TE S fightstick here in Taiwan. Can someone let me know if the PCB Quality on the Q3 is just as good as the TE S Fightstick and is there a plexi cover on the xbox version? Also is the Q3 on the Xbox 360 wired? and no lag input? thank you very much. (excuse my grammar)
Hey JJcao, the Qanba PCBs are good no lag at all. For the Xbox Q3, the plexi that comes with it is not clear, although you can buy clear plexi for the Q3 sticks.
Thank you
Thanks
I have a question -
Is the casing for the - Qanba Empire Arcadia Arcade FightStick made out of wood ?
If it is made out of wood, how do you guys import it into the USA ?
I though that you cannot export wood made items into the USA ?
Does anyone have any idea on this item ?
The Qanba EMP Q3s are made of a wood for the case.
i don’t think it’s a issue because they have sent other Q3 models to the USA that are also made of wood.
