The Official Qanba Fightstick Thread (New products Coming)

I have a Q4RAF and I’m looking for a spare usb cord because I wanna splice it to add a RJ45 to the inside of the cord storage to allow myself to just unplug and put the cord in my pocket instead of having to trying and fold it all into the storage

You can pick any USB chord from an online outlet for like…$2.

Hello everyone  I own a Qanba Q4, is there a way to rewire the select button so I can b-link/s-link ? tku very much

Does anyone know the screw size that the qanba q4 uses for the back panel.

Hi, I bought a Quanba Q1, mostly because of the clamps, which are a lot sturdier than I expected by the way.

Anyway I’m using it on a PC, it’s detected by Windows and works fine when playing Skull Girls, but when I play SSF4:AE it doesn’t detect the button presses at all.

Any ideas?

I believe that this is a SSFIV issue - you have to configure the stick from within the game.

I ended up using JoyToKey and configuring the keyboard.

Hi,
I bought a Qanba q4 Ice Red LE from UK Gremlin Solutions last August. It is a great stick, I really love it. However, a couple of months after I got it the Headphone jack completely stopped working - it registered the mic being plugged into the stick, but didn’t register any sound through the mic. All my mics worked on my other pads and sticks, but not on this stick.
I contacted Gremlin Solutions and they sent out a replacement Mic board for the stick. I replaced it and my mic worked… but ONLY for my Turtle Beach headphones. No other headset would work on my stick, and again every headset worked on every other stick and pad I have. I contacted Gremlin Solutions and they had no idea why this was happening. As my Turtle Beach worked fine I left it and just used them.
As of last week tho, my Turtle Beach mic no longer works with my stick. Again it works on all other controllers, and when plugged in to the stick the Xbox registers that the mic is plugged in, but the Xbox doesn’t register any sound coming through the mic.
This is really annoying, as I play regularly miced with a group of friends and it’s really helped me learn SF. I’d really like to fix this problem.
Does anybody know what’s going on, and how I can fix it, please?

Any information on whether the Qanba Q4 (360/PS3/PC) fightstick will work on next-generation consoles (PS4/XBO)?

The current theories being proposed maintain the belief that there is a 100% chance that ANY current-gen. arcade stick will not work with the next gen. consoles.

My Q4 seems to be having issues registering held button presses. I noticed it when trying to do Cerebella’s kancho slide, charge Jefailey’s kick, or angle The Baz. All of which require holding a button. What’s the best way to go about getting a replacement PCB. Or should I just swap the guts our for a Cthullu and 360 PCB?

Is there any way to get a replacement for the piece with the wires that are the directions that connect to the pcb in that white slot?

Whenever I plug in my Q4’s USB cable into my xbox when it’s off, the mode light comes on. However, when I turn my xbox on, it turns off; the same thing happens when I turn off the power supply to my xbox. Anyone have any idea why this happens and how to fix it? I doesn’t affect gameplay, but I didn’t notice it until recently.

I don’t mean to resurrect an old thread ( if this is old) but my USB compartment door of my Q4raf broke. How much are they to replace them? I have the Ice blue one.

I own a Q

I’d start by checking the condition of the USB cable. I’ve had a similar problem, but it was most definitely the board itself. They sometimes burn out after a year or so (conveniently outside the warranty period).

If there are breaks, it could be internal, meaning it’ll look good on the outside, but the wiring itself may be frayed. It wouldn’t hurt to check on the board side either, although those breaks are rare. They usually go bad if you have a tendency to wrap the chord around the stick and leave it lying around, like 90% of people do.

But most likely it’s the board.

I’ve had my Q4 for about a month and now during heavy play with the microphone plugged in I start to get a loud feedback type noise that doesn’t go away for about 10-20 secs. Is there anyway to fix this? also my plexi has incomplete lettering. Not a big deal, Im more interested in the microphone problem.

i just picked up a Q4 Ice red in near brand new condition for $50 on craigslist… kid musta been really hurting for money ;/

Hi guys I am in Hong Kong right now visiting some relatives… and I cant seem to find these Qanba’s for sale anywhere! I checked various videogame/computer malls in tsuen wan, sham shiu po and mongkok and they only seem to sell the streetfighter x tekken sticks if any at all :frowning: Anyone know where I can get a qanba stick?

Any opinions on Qanba’s own non-Sanwa buttons/sticks? I’m thinking of getting a Q2 Glow but don’t know what to expect in terms of quality.
