My cord storage door just broke on my Ice Red Qanba, any suggestions? The latch snapped off. ANY WAY TO GET A REPLACEMENT?

I bought a standard Q4 and now my joystick is not responding. I never dropped it. What do I need to do now? Where can i go to get a new stick? the buttons all work fine. What bothers me the most is that my beat down madcatz TE stick still works after all its been through.

Please let me know where I can get the new Sanwa piece. I dont find it on focus attack, they just have the metal stick itself, also not ssure what it is that it may need.

I need some help:

On my Q4 it always shows that my mic is connected so I am not able to use my wireless headset on 360.

I’ve unplugged the cable that connects to the pcb, and it still shows the mic is running. I assume I have a faulty pcb?

Does anyone have any clue on how to fix this headset issue? I can not use my headphone with this stick because of it.

The cable running from the mic port and from the PCB that connects the mic are unplugged now, and the 360 still shows a mic plugged in and making noise.

Just a quick shout out to Qanba/EightArc. My cord placement door on my Qanba broke on friday and I contacted EightArc about it and they are sending me a whole new stick for free. Amazing.

I fell into the 90 day warranty so they will honor it by sending me a new stick and a prepaid card to send back the broken one. I will do business again with Eightarc again. Thats a promise.

Silly me! the door on my MINSK Ice Blue Qanba has been broke for a while, didn’t even think about Warranty!

Though it can’t really be repaired as one of the little studs that the door clips into snapped off, working fine otherwise though! Great product =]

I found that when using my Qanba on the pc that I set it to ‘xbox’ and then I had to bind everything with the mode ON (mode light illuminated red) Then I could just turn mode off and it worked every time for AE… Dunno if this will help but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I’m having problems with my Q4RAF, When I plug it into my PS3, sometimes it randomly does circle. Anyone know how to fix this?

My A button (X on PS, Light Kick) on my new Q4RAF suddenly stopped working in the middle of the character selection screen in SSFIV:AE PC, and I was unable to use the button after that. I tried to switch from PS3/PC mode to X360, re-plugging etc, but nothing seemed to work. Well I ended up losing the battle of course and only after I restarted the game it started functioning again.

I find this really strange and I was wondering what could have caused this?

2 Questions about the Qanba Q4raf that I am about to buy:

1. Does anyone know if it fits within the Mad Catz Carrier bag?
2. I have read some concern regarding ps3 (what I play on) firmware updates making the stick unusuable. Is this true and is it something I should be concerned about it prior to purchase?

Has anybody gotten there hands on a proper template for the Q4 yet? If so, I’d love it if you can share it. As for the templates provided by llx8000 for the Q3 and models before it, the two download links don’t work, and more importantly, don’t make sense. If anyone can upload it to a site like Mediafire or Minus.com, then that’d be great.

The cable compartment door has broken off my Qanba but it appears that the hinges off the arcade stick itself have broken off; even if I receive a replacement it doesn’t look like it could possibly go back on. Any idea what to do?

I have a limited edition red qanba q4 I have the exact same problem. The letters labelled “headphone jack” have fallen over by just wiping (very gently) with the cloth. Mine now reads “Headph_n_ J_a_” I find this so annoying.

On a limited edition stick which looks so nice it ruins it for me. The letters are nice and silver and really bugs me and is very visible to me. It seems like I’m not the only person to have had this problem with this exact same stick.

The letters are lost! Is there any way for me to buy/get these missing letters that magically drop off?

I would like get them back on there. It ruins for me such a lovely looking stick, which was also quite expensive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just received my new Qanba Q4RAF stick a few days ago, it’s my first stick, and I’m having some problems with it. Nothing major(I hope) but:

1. The stick makes a little whining noise (if that’s the right word) when I move it to the right. There are no weird noises when moving the stick to other directions.
   The sound is insignificant when playing, but it has still gotten me worried over the health of the stick. It’s like I should oil it or something to prevent the noise, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the correct way to fix it, and I don’t want to void my warranty already.
   Do even think this is a problem, or should I just live with it?

2. I’m not totally sure if this only applies to the Qanba Q4RAF stick, but every time I launch up SSFIV:AE on the PC, I’m forced to rebind every input on my stick. It doesn’t work at all at first, I actually have to use my keyboard to choose the specific button I want to bind before pressing the button on the stick. I haven’t had any similar problems while playing other games on the X360 for example.

3. Also, is there a place in Windows where you can bind the keys beforehand, like by opening a driver software or something? I think I’ve seen some graphs where you can see the stick with the buttons, x and y axis etc, but I’m not sure if this is a part of the driver or is it some 3rd party software? I can see the joystick in “Devices and Printers” as a “QanBa Joystick Plus” controller, but clicking it doesn’t provide me with any useful information. I’ve tried using it on both PS3/PC mode andX360 modes.

Other than those minor, although a bit irritating problems, I’m having a blast with the stick, and I can’t wait to get better on using it.
At first I was sure that I’d change the artwork and maybe some buttons on it, but now when I see the stick in person I can’t stop to admire its beautiful and sleek looks. Good job!

2. have you saved your button’s config?
3.please plug usb cable to computer’s back usb port.
if your system is Winxp,when you used XBOX360 mode,please install xbox360 controller driver for PC,Win7,Vista needn’t driver at XBOX360 mode for PC.
PS3/PC mode for pc ,winxp,vista,win7 needn’t driver.
