what finish do you guys use?

I have a quick question. I’ve had my Qanba for about 20 days but my light punch button (square on PS3 & X on Xbox) seems to be unresponsive half the time. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way I could fix this problem without voiding my warranty? If I do decide to void my warranty will it fix the problem? I really don’t want to send the stick in because SFxTK just came out and I don’t people to get the jump on me.
If you don’t want to void the warranty send it back and just play on pad for the time being.
I’m getting a bit concerned. It seems that the ratio for good to bad is almost 2|1 (for every two sticks one will have an issue) or at the least, that’s the feel I’m getting from this thread. My Q4 RAF White has not had a single issue and I’ve used it at several tournaments as well as training sessions in the past few weeks that I’ve had it. Can anyone else comment on how long they’ve had their stick and it’s current condition (working fine since day one, had a few issues but works fine now, worked at first but is now a paper weight, etc)?
No way 50% of these sticks are having issues. If everyone who has a working stick would post I’m sure it would not be concerning at all. Remember people are more likely to post complaints than praise.

Bingo. I can concur with Shingotink; I’ve had mine since August and I’ve had no problems. I’m sure that there are lots of people who don’t have any problems, but you don’t often see people finding the thread just to say, “Yep, it’s great! That’s all, bye!”
I’d be willing to bet that you wouldn’t be disappointed in your purchase (if you made one).
I do own one. A newer model Q4 RAF in white with the handle. I love it I’ve only had it for several weeks (pic of my stick on page 49).
so i got the limited edition blue crystal q4raf stick and i do enjoy it … so far no issues. i had a friend that had the ice red q4raf and i noticed that the finish is very smooth and glossy. are all the of the q4rafs in this same finish? i really did like it a lot more compared to the finish on the blue crystal.
The ice blue and white qanba that I own have a matte finish. The black is matte as well I believe. I thought the ice red was matte, but the red limited edition (same thing just not clear red, but solid red instead) is glossy.

arcadeshock.com is the best way to go imo. Great customer service. They reply to your emails within 12 hours. They don’t charge tax. Black Q4raf is 150 + 18 shipping so your total would be only 168. Thats 21 bucks cheaper! They have the most recent/updated version. My white one came with a 2.5mm headphone jack and a sanwa start button, which is how you tell whether or not you got the updated Q4.

Where do you live? I ran the shipping estimate and I got $18.20 for VA and also CA so either way it’s $168.15. FocusAttack ships from PA and I got my Ice Red Q4 in 2 days once they shipped it out (I live in Northern VA). I haven’t shopped with ArcadeShock before but I can vouch for FocusAttack’s excellent customer service.

I live in northeast Kansas. I dunno how this forum is regarding pictures but here is the total which came to 183.15. This was the cheapest shipping option as well.

I also have this issue, got my new Q4 3in1 today. And first the Li/lb button was going off all the time, but I thought fine, I can live with that. But then after 30 min or so the X/square, stared going of all the time, Now its problem with every button except B/circle. And the stick goes to the left sometimes.
I assume I have to open this? to fix it? and lose my warranty?
