I bought this one from Lizard Lick a few years ago, but you can get them elsewhere.

Of course: just wanted to get an official word on it at the moment: I believe our local supplier is currently on holiday(?)

Great customer support from Qanba, i got my replacement harness for my qanba q4raf, it did take 3 weeks to get here but i guess since it was sent form china to europe it cant be helped.

ok, so there are times where my Q4RAF will register a qcb motion randomly even if the stick is in a neutral position.
Anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks Mr. Xiang Long .

Can someone link me the Qanba artwork template? I checked the stick thread but that file doesnt work, I also downloaded the template from the focus attack site but it doesnt have a joy stick placement on it just button and start labels.

Replacing parts.

I"ve been over this for white some time. After Xiang sent me the audio-chip to be replaced in my Q4 (for xbox audio problem) I realized my Q4 didn’t include the adapter to be able to connect de RF jack from the headsets into the stick. Also, there was some re-wiring to be done, and clumsy me, i broke the cabling trying to pull it out. I’ve been on a quest trying to search different electronic stores (radio shack included) but no one seems to be able to help me.

I just wanted to ask, if there’s any way i can get a replacement cable and adapter from the Q4 seller. If i need to buy it, that’s ok. But like I said, there was no adapter in the Q4 box. I tried using the headset included with the Q4, but no luck. (it won’t fit my controllers either)

I include the pics, please let me know of there’s any way you can help me get through this odyssey. thank you

Just ordered my black Q4 RAF from arcadeshock.com, can’t wait to get it. I got a SE I modded, once I get this I’m inviting my friends over, turning the living room to an arcade and probably pissing off my wife lol.

Hey guys, is there any chance that this stick will get banned on the ps3/360 because of the dual modded function?

No, unless you’re dealing with a really, really huge idiot. Most sticks are either dual modded out of the box or get dual modded after-market due to the fact that tournaments vary their platform (360 vs PS3) and players don’t want to have to lug around two sticks.

What do you mean dealing with a huge idiot? I’m not talking about tournament officials or anything I’m talking PSN and XBL. This is the quote that got me worried, I found it on a youtube comments page for a Qanba stick review.

“Something you guys need to know, this stick is not licensed, therefore filmware updates may see it being made redundant. Buy at your own risk, sony have already screwed over many non licensed controllers/adapters with update”

Thanks for the clarification. I thought you meant tournaments, and the idiot comment would be if you had a dummy of a TO or something.

That’s the first I’ve heard of anything like that.

Ummm, I got my stick 2 hours ago. I played a couple of UMvC3 matches against the cpu in training mode and left it there (the stick plugged in and game running) while typing up a document. Eventually my character starts punching over and over again as if the turbo feature was on and while puzzled I let it continue. Eventually the punching got slower and slower until the character stopped punching altogether. When I picked up the stick expecting everything to be normal, the heavy button wouldn’t respond. I plugged it into my computer and the X/Square button is always pressed.

The stick is the Q4raf Ice Blue Limited Edition, anybody have an idea if I slipped up on the Turbo/Mode Features somehow, or if it’s defective and I need to fix it / get a replacement

Qanba

I like that your are trying to get to improve your products by adding new ideas like QanBa Q4 eLivePro by moving the start button to the side. Have you consider making a Qanba 4 with Astro 6 button layout with L1, L2 and start on the side? A lot of gamers like the 6 button layout but still wanted to have the other buttons without cause them any issues and that is what I am trying to address you this issues. If Qanba is planning to make one like so I would be interested in getting one. XD

My screw thread is gone on the bottom plate of my stick and the screw just falls out now, is there any way to fix this ?

I have the exact same issue on a Q4 stick that I received on thursday. Except it was my A/X button and it never worked from the start (and then after sitting it worked for 5 mins before failing and being stuck on again). Now the damn stick doesn’t have ANY working buttons. Took it apart and everything looks like it is in place and wired correctly, dunno, sending images of it to the Rep to see what he has to say.

Ok never mind, problem solved. I removed all of the connectors and found a chunk of plastic at the bottom of one of them. Removed it and the stick works fine now.

Hello! First I would like to say that the Qanba Q4raf is an awesome arcade fighting stick. I started getting into using the arcade style controller when I bought a Hori Ex2 that was on sale at a local Toys R Us for 40$ bucks. I wanted to play Street Fighter 4 the way I would play old fighting games back in the day. The Hori had its faults and over time and use the buttons have begun to stick. So my Solution was to buy the Qanba. I have never regretted it since. When I got it, I was not used to the authentic sanwa parts so it took a little getting used to but I must say that sanwa parts are highly reliable and far superior. For a out of the box arcade stick that is dual mod the q4raf is top notch.

Unfortunately I have experienced a problem with my q4. It seems that when I turn on my console (xbox in my case) I am able to use my stick no problem until I press UP on the joystick. When I do it causes the led lights on the qanba to flash and reset or turn off. This happens whenever I press UP and in any direction and UP. I have a older model Q4 raf, it is the one with reflective glass covering the led lights that indicate with player you are (1-4). Does anyone know what exactly the problem is? Thank You

Is there any plans for plexiglass for Qanba’s eLivePro version?

Now that the Start button is on the side, there’s an extra hole if you put the original Qanba plexiglass on it.

I inquired about a handle for my white/red Q4 a few weeks ago and was told to e-mail zhianglong (forgive my butchering of the spelling) with my shipping address. I did so and never heard anything back. Who should I get in touch with to check on the status of this?
