New models have a 2.5mm headphone jack (X360 standard) and Sanwa start button. Unless the retailer still has old stock any recently purchased Q4RAFshould be the new model.
wait, qanba now have the start button on the side? I’ve been holding out for an eightarc just cuase the start button isn’t on the top panel. Is this new qanba already out?

i have Mushihimesama-futari, Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets, Espgaluda 2, Dodonpachi Resurrection, Deathsmiles. thats all i can get except for eschatos for a region 4 xbox 360. and eschatos is about $92 AUS on ebay … .expensive lol epgaluda 2 was like $48 dodonpachi $25 deathsmiles $20, muchi muchi pink sweets $100, mushihime $58.
Start button position on 2nd version q4raf on the right doesnt bother me at all, no way can u mash so fiercly and miss the button by 4 times tothe right and hit start, like i used to be a lead guitarist played anything except 6 string sweeps, its like 2 frets over, no wayyyyy can u miss and hit that 
When did the newer models start to roll out? I have a Qanba stick on the way from video games new york and i pray i have the newer model.
all their special editions seem to have a “custom” start button. the standard q4 doesnt say the buttons

I just bought a Qanba Q4RAF this morning from a UK dealer. Looking forward to it. Wish I’d kept checking the site though, might have been tempted by that RF limited edition lol. Are the limited edition models still 3-in-1’s? The reposition of the start button is nice. Also I know the Q4RAFs aren’t, but are the Limited Editions fully licensed products?
It would be impossible for Qanba and Eightarc to get fully licensed sticks.

Is it possible to get a qanba 3 that is painted perfectly? I got a q3 from the qanba shop that had some sloppy painting. I contacted them to try exchange it for one that is painted properly. They said that its not possible to get a qanba 3 thats painted 100% properly and I should take a refund.
Whats the point of selling something that you cant produce to a high standard? I really like the stick but the painting is just bad.

the Q3 paint should be very good in any case. please take pictures of the stick and send them to zhongxianglong@hotmail.com alongside a description of your problem.
Mode off = DPAD for the Joystick, Mode on = Left Analog for the Joystick
i would say its a format error with the webpage, like how u can post a link, then type directly after it, and the text after it connects with the link, its a bug, redo it by adding a picture 'Insert/edit image" wait for it to load, left click to the bottom right of it hit enter or shift enter twice then add the other one, should work then
my Qanba Q4RAF from play-asia is perfect, but then again i dont think its painted(color of the plastic), and its not a Q3, when u use it tho it does sound more wood like compared to the plastic sound of a HRAP V3 SA for example even though they both have the exact same joystick and buttons and gate.
the Q3 features a piano paint on top of a wooden / MDF case != Q4 which is ABS / “plastic”.

When you get it can you post if you received the newer model? I’m looking to buy a Q4RAF and I’d like to get the newer model as well.
I believe they started rolling out during the November re-stocks.
Its ok. I went ahead and ordered some screw ins. I guess I could glue them in anyway if I cant screw them in.
