The problems that i’m having is that sometimes when i’m holding down a button and shift my finger to the other side of the button the button will input itself again, as if turbo was turned on, and occasionally the start button will input itself aswell.
I have two q4rafs and they’re both doing this. Just wanted to know if other people have experienced this problem and have a fix for it. Also does qanba do warranty? I’m curious if I should open up the back to see what is wrong or if I can just send it in.
Yo, i’m having a kind of major problem with my Q4RAF.
The pause button will randomly activate at times during gameplay.
What can I do to fix this and has anyone ever run into this problem before on a Q4RAF?
Sorry I’m a noob when it comes to sticks but why do people want to swap out the start button for sanwa ones? It’s just the start button. Why does it matter if it’s high quality or not?
I believe the reason is mostly for what a few members have been bringing up as an issue. The cheap start button may cause issues like triggering by itself at random, or from what I’ve seen personally on a friends stick, is that the cheap button fell apart and was practically hanging out of the stick. By switching out the button, you can have that sense of reassurment that it’ll always work or won’t go nuts on you.
Also, there are those who just want genuine parts on their stick so they’ll switch out all the buttons to a type of their preferance whether it be Sanwa or Seimitus.
All the current models feature a SANWA start button though.
bush: well, in theory, sanwa buttons will fit. but due to the thick material at the side of the Q3, there could be problems to fix the buttons.
ArcxenoV: well, the Q3 is an older model made of MDF /wood and features a piano paint - but no handle and no multi system compatibility. performance-wise, it will be the same as the Q4 if you are talking about the stick part and the buttons.
relysis: as far as i know, the SE sticks will feature a LS-32-01 stick unit, but LLX may correct me on that.
kingdom zero / drean:
could be a wiring issue in both cases. please open up the stick and check the wiring and try to reconnect the wire that leads to the start button - but only if you know how to do it without damaging the wire!
make pictures of the inside and send them to zhongxianglong@hotmail.com. don’t forget to describe your issue as best as you can.
I’ve been looking for a quality 3-in-1 fightstick to replace my crappy Hori Tekken 6 wireless for the PS3. After poking around the internet, I have to say Qanba’s Q4 is looking like a great deal.
I want the Q4 RAF, hope I can get it here in the next few months. Right now I play with a modded SE, there’s nothing wrong with it but I want another stick and I might as well get a 3-1 stick that doesn’t need to be modded.
I believe what you’re saying, I just wish it weren’t true… I feel like I would have more fun playing with a stick, but I don’t want it to be frustrating either. Supposedly the newer Seimitsu 58 sticks eliminate most of the dead space, so I was hoping there were included. Eschatos isn’t wonderful, but a great value considering the extra games you get. I’d put it 3rd to last in terms of enjoyment within 360 shooters. Right in front of Raiden IV and Otomedius Excellent Still trying to find a Muchi Muchi Pork for under $100…
