The Official Qanba Fightstick Thread (New products Coming)

It’s called a wire harness, specifically the 5-pin wire harness for the JLF.

Can I remove the wires from the plastic piece and insert new ones?

You could, but why would you?

I have a longer USB cable I want to use with my Qanba. I need a plastic piece to attach it to the PCB.

How do you remove the wires and put new ones in? If I can do that, then I won’t need to buy a new piece.

… just cut and strip the old wires and splice them with your new USB cable. They’re color coded. Just twist together each wire, solder them, and electrical tape them.

If you really don’t want to solder, you can get a 4 wire screw terminal strip instead.

Which you can find at radioshack, or any other electronics supply store.

Will it matter if there’s no second black ground cable to splice to?

EDIT: Got it done. Your first suggestion worked perfectly. Thanks!

Xianglong

Hey Xianglong, I have the white/red Q4. Since it doesn’t come with a carrying handle, I’m wondering how expensive it would be to buy one from you guys vs building one from scratch myself. I’ve done some research but I can’t find anywhere to buy the handle. Do you guys sell them for end-users to install themselves? If so, can you give me an approximate price?

Thanks, and no rush!

Thanks for mentioning that because I was looking at the white one but none of the pictures show a handle and I was unclear whether it had a handle or not. That is a deal breaker for me. Looks like I might be going with the Ice red one.

What is the cord storage like on the q4 stick? I’ve broken the little tab off the one on my TE and I am wondering if it’s gonna break on this one too or if this one will hold up better.

All you need to do is contact zhongxianglong@hotmail.com and they will send it to you for free. But be warned its a little discolored.

I saw someone open a brand new one of those over the weekend and it looked like that. I think that’s just how they look,

Thanks for the info!

i am interested in ordering one of your qanba fight sticks and am comparing prices, however i can not seem to get your website to go in english. there is a little english button on the top right but i dont think it does anything.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I sent an email to zhongxianglong@hotmail.com

I hope to get a response soon.

Thanks.

is there some way for old q4raf models to upgrade to have both turbo and mode button working on 360?

Hi guys, I’m new to this forum (and sticks) and have narrowed down my search to the Q4 RAF. I was looking to buy at Arcade Shock, but I noticed new models are coming in on February 17. The new SE sticks say that they will be all Seimitsu buttons. I don’t have a shop near me where I can test Sanwa vs. Seimitsu, so I was hoping for some input. I can’t tell any other difference between the regular edition and SE besides the balltop, so is it worth the extra $40, or am I missing something? Thanks!

Also, are there ever any coupons or free shipping for arcade shock or focus attack?

Does anyone know what size screw is used to hold the plexi in place? I accidentally stripped the head a little bit, not where it won’t work, but it might get worse.

focusattack sometimes have free shipping codes for parts and accessories, but not the full stick. I bought my q4 from videogamesnewyork with free shipping. They have free shipping (UPS ground) from time to time, you just have to wait and check the homepage frequently for the coupon code.
