Yeah the KOF poster was awesome. Taped it right to my door lol.
doesnt the qanba have a sticker on the bottom covering one of the screws?
i looked at mine and it doesnt have it… i hope this doesnt void my warranty D:
Wish mine would have come with a KOF poster… I didn’t get anything except a great stick.
Yay got mine in the mail today! I also got that KoF poster…Its pretty awesome. The joystick on the qanba feels weird for some reason but it still works. I love this stick! Happy New Years guys and gals!
the stick does feel a bit loose and weird for me, but this is my first Sanwa/japanese stick so maybe with a bit more time playing with it i might get used to it.
Hi,
I was wondering if you had received my e-mails. I think I may have forgotten to mention which model of Q4RAF I had. I have the black model. I’m the guy with the broken wire cover door.
Compared to an American Happ arcade stick, the Sanwa JLF is a LOT more loose feeling. It’s kind of something that you’re going to have to get used to unless you want to modify the spring in the joystick (ether by streching it or adding a different spring).
I didn’t get a KOF poster, I got a picture of 5 guys from canada cup instead :o
I’ve been wondering, is there a guide somewhere for changing stick art for the Qanba Q4? I don’t know how to take apart my Qanba Q4 enough to just get the art.
Is there a separate template for the six-button Q4 conversion kit?
I bought q4raf today from dealer in Thai

- 1 It no sound out on headphone port I still waiting HOW TO FIX IT !!?
- 0 Never test on Xbox360
- 0 Never test If I set it to Player 2 (I will test soon , because someone said the light on controller show wrong number for player 2)
I THINK that the headphone only works with the Xbox 360, I could be wrong though!
I was looking to buy a Q4 stick from arcadeshock and noticed for the limited edition red it states: Authentic SanwaFlagship Joystick, and the normal black one just has: Authentic Sanwa Joystick. I know the limited edition uses clear push buttons but is this just another way they worded that they both have the same type of Joystick? It doesn’t matter to me really I’m ordering the Red Limited edition anyway but I was just wondering about that. Also could someone post a picture of this stick if they got it.
EDIT:
hey Xianglong, i have a bit of a problem with my sick. it makes this squeaking noise every time i pull it down. i dont want to open it and disassemble the stick because it might void my warranty… help?
DOUBLE EDIT:
i just now noticed that the triangle/Y button also makes a loud noticeable squeak, the RB/R1 button too but its not that noticeable. all the other buttons dont however…
TRIPLE EDIT:
i was wiping my stick with the cleaning cloth that came with it and the “headphone Jack” letters started falling off, only “Headphone J_c_” remains, “a” & “k” fell off.
i have the Limited Edition Red Q4RAF by the way.
How does one go about changing the artwork on the blue Q4RAF?
and need to ask about this
please look in the circle of photo

It look like scotch tape
or plastic
it under the LB / LT / Start button other button is not have
this is no problem for playing , but i need to know why it out of the button ?
and found some new bug
the “mode” button work fine on PS3 game , but on PC if i put “mode” button it cannot using left/right
it look like i found more bug of it , but i just need QANBA support answer for all of my question .
However it still good for playing by this controller.
Thank you
I believe the ‘Mode’ button is like the ‘LS - DP - RS’ option on a madcatz stick [Though i think it only switched between LS(Left Stick) and DP(D pad) ]. When the red ‘MODE’ light is lit, it’s on the ‘D pad’ Setting (apologies if I’m incorrect, however I think this is the case.) and I’m pretty sure on my PC it stops me moving with it on too, I don’t think its a bug, Windows just probably sees the stick as only having one directional control.
I just finished customizing my Qanba Q4RAF.
It turned out so much better than I expected.
Sorry for the low quality pics.

I also received my white handle in the mail which I plan on adding this weekend. Can someone please take a good pick of the top of the stick so I can get an idea on the spacing and position?
Superb, it confirm my choice to take a white/red.
@goodevth look like plastic protecting the plexi, just open your stick, pop out the button, remove the plastic and pop in the button back.
Seems a bit weird they leave the plastic on some of the plexi as there was quite a noticeable amount on my start button and the only way to get it off is by voiding the warranty(which I don’t really mind). So I’m guessing the squeaking from all the buttons is plastic left on the plexi ? as I have the exact same red clear sanwa buttons on another stick and there’s no squeaking.
that looks awesome! I am also wondering about that handle.
