Thanks very much for the heads-up. Picking up both of those as well. Like TECM implied, it will probably just add to my backlog, but whatever. I’ve been looking at Nier for a while, and for $16, I’m happy to have it sit on the shelf a few months before I play it.
For the headset, go to Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings > Highlight your headset and hit Triangle, then select Connect. That should work.

Backing up, then restoring data to a new PS3 DOES transfer over copy-protected data now, as of firmware 3.15.
Just don’t play any copy-protected video on your old PS3 if you transferred it over unto a new PS3.
Using the transfer utility is a better option if you got a new PS3 though.

Once again, Japan doesn’t give a fuck about FFVI. That’s why it hardly ever gets remade.
SE wants cash and FFIV = cash. So does FFIII (JP version that we got on DS), surprisingly enough.
It’s a shame really, because it’s easily my favorite. =(
