… this alone has almost sold me.
New?
Are you located in the US? I been trying to cop a new copy of Yakuza 2 for the longest. That would be dope if you could get me one :wgrin:
Yeah, new. But the bad news is I’m here in Canada drinking milk from a bag.
sick just called around bout to add it to my ps3’s slim game collection!
Ya know what? SEGA should pull of a GoW collection-
rerelease Yakuzas 1, 2 and the first 3 PS3 game as a collection for the PS3.
whoops… i meant to say L1
50% off Classic Stadium DLC pack for MLB 10: The Show for PS3!!
not really. if you have a good strategy, its really just making the right choices at the right time. i usually just give all my orders, bring up the paradigm menu, and that gives me 4-5 solid seconds to select which one i want before the attack finishes.
We can only dream
If I could change some stuff with the FF13 combat system, it would be the summons and manual commands.
The auto-commands are quite good 90% of the time, there are a few places where I find myself needing to manually issue commands, but that’s pretty rare itself. I feel like even though it would require more button presses (and would be nearly impossible to be efficient with ATB Charge builds) allowing you to input multiple targets in the order of each of your commands. So 4 attacks means 4 targets which you can spam on the same person if you wanted to, 2 Blitz means you can choose 2 targets. Reason I say this is because even though attacks aren’t really the main issue, Healing feels cumbersome. Most of the time I find it easier just to assign it to an AI controlled character, but why make a class CPU only because it’s cumbersome and unfun for a human player? It’s not like it would be more fun with this, but I feel like at least it’ll feel less stupid since you can only heal yourself. Casting single commands takes too long and really doesn’t work as well as I think Square-Enix devs thought it would.
Summons, I just don’t really like in this game. You could do the same thing with them except just make them do flat damage and revive your entire party. I really don’t see the point of you burning points with your summon, then gestalt mode, etc. It’s just a lot of manual nonsense. It’s more work that doesn’t really add anything to the overall combat. I feel like summons are such a detachment from a pretty solid battle system. Probably would have enjoyed them more if there were more thought put into the way the worked in combat.
anyone have any experience with the 3rd party ps3 VGA cables
I’d throw down a lot of money for Shenmue 3 to be released and a Shenmue collection.
Alas, it will never happen =[
Just started my FFXIII file.
Holy fuck. This game is absolutely gorgeous.
The cut list is now final! Taken from neogaf regarding Y3
Some of the cuts make sense. The Answer X Answer and all the quests about helping a person translate Japanese to English (4 quests related to that).
A fun game, one that I still recommend but just thought I get this list out there to the people who were interested.
Only about 3 hours into FFXIII but it’s slowly becoming my favorite one in the series. Or easily one of top picks.
The people who’re bitching about it are just bitching for the attention. The game is amazing.
Lightning = I don’t get the links to cloud people have been making. Yeah, she’s depressed and an ex soldier, but come on, considering what happened to her sister. She kind of has a reason to be.
Snow = Why did Beat from The World Ends with You have to go and steal Seifer’s jacket? What a dick.
Sazh = He has a chocobo living in his fro. That’s all that really needs to be said.
Vanille = Fucking annoying.
Hope = Whiny emo bitch. And looks like tidus wearing an ascot. But he uses a boomerang…so that’s kind of cool. Though that should be Vanille’s weapon given her accent. LOL STEREOTYPES
Serah = Is she fucking twelve? She was like 4’1.
And I love that the sphere grid is back, in a sense.
I am absolutely loving this game. I recommend it to any one.
I pretty much confirmed the number in a previous post. 101 is not bad, truth is 95% of players won’t even do half the missions so people complaining are just looking for a reason to bash Sega. I actually support 90% of the things they cut, the other 10% could of stayed but with 619 things to do in the game I am not complaining.
God of War III is so close. Gonna hopefully finish FFXIII tomorrow and then have my slate cleared up for it.
Edit: Always awesome when you get error codes that apparently don’t exist on the internet. I can’t transfer any of my bought stuff over to my PSP. Good fucking job Sony.
Manually activate your PSP when its connected to your PS3 through Account Management.
Just got done with Dante’s Inferno. Time for God of War 3.
is there any way to get the yakuza 3 pre-order DLC?
i can’t wait to pick the game up. i’m stuck at a boss on ff13 and i may move on to something else for a while
