Yeah I was playing the demo yesterday and was very impressed by the presentation. Gameplay seems somewhat simplistic ATM, but what really makes it a bit difficult is the small screen you get when in battles.

I just wanted to say that uncharted and lords of shadow ripped off prince of Persia in terms of platforming. Also, I’d say the move set in LoS is quite a bit different than god of war. Further, most action games are linear. God of War sure as hell is.
The problem with LoS is that from a technical standpoint, it’s all over the place. The game is gorgeous bit there are places where the frame rate is just awful. I hope they can fix that in a sequel. The shaky cam is the most glaring issue I have with it. I can’t even really stop for a second to take in how gorgeous the game is because it looks like a guy with parkinson’s is holding the camera.
I really didn’t experience the same issues with the camera. I’m just past the Titan’s Graveyard - is it something that happens late in the game? I’ve had a few issues with the “sticky” cam (not sure how else to term it), turning and sticking when I wanted the previous view, but other than that, I definitely haven’t noticed the camera twitching like that.
The framerate I never really had drop very much either. Not asking to be an ass, but are you playing on PS3 or 360? On the PS3, I really have not experienced it, at least not to the level of making it even a slight nuisance.
Speaking of which, I despised the Titan’s Graveyard. Worst level of the game so far. Still having a blast with the game overall though, and it is indeed a great looking game.
I’ve never had frame rate issues with LoS, nor do I recall camera problems @_@
Never had a framerate problem either, but I do notice sometimes when it is panning through areas it is way below 60 frames per second. It hasn’t affected my gameplay in anyway. Today I can back to playing my games, I went to the Giants vs. Phillies games on Tuesday afternoon and last night.
Tizoc, the camera problems are not the camera breaking or anything, it is when it shows you a view and you can’t see yourself or the angle you want for passages.
Too many games right now…lol. So Im playing UNS2 right now, mind you I picked up Sengoku Basara a week b4 Naruto. So I wanna play Sengoku but I’m addicted to Nin Storm 2. Vanquish is out which needs to be copped asap Force Unleashed is nxt week–then Black Ops right around the corner.
Being a kid was so much better…lol.
Working is taking away from my game time…lol.
Picked up Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 this week. My only complaint is that I liked the village in the first game better, because you could walk around, jump on buildings and do whatever you wanted to. Now it’s broken up into little sections.
That’s my only complaint really. Finally get to fight ONLINE and use all of the skills I acquired playing the first game. :rock:
Oh and just like the demo, the Naruto / Sakura / Kakashi fight is a bajillion times better in the game then it was in the manga. :tup:
DLed the demos for Fist of the North Star and Sonic so gonna try those out later. I would’ve reserved Fist way back when but the Gamestop by me has never taken reserves for it. Now I don’t know if I will pick it up when it drops since I’m having too much fun with Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes.
Although I want to play these new releases, I feel that (a.) $60 is too much, and (b.) if I wait 6 months, it’ll be half priced and there will probably be a GOTY edition, saving me more money. I know that I’m not alone on this.
