any reccomendations on a good headset? my old USB ps2 one broke on me. im looking at bluetooth headsets. do all/most of them work on ps3?
As far as I’m aware most of them are compatible. What I will say is get one that feels comfortable. The official PS3 headset looks nice but after buying it I instantly regretted it. Makes my ear feel like it’s being violated.
It should be in the “Extras” menu at the bottom after the Resident Evil 5 intro screen. I don’t have the Gold edition, but it should be the same thing.

Nah you shouldn’t have to beat it on Professional I don’t think. I had a vanilla RE5 save with cleared games only up to Vet difficulty, and I when I later got Gold Edition was able to load up both scenarios just fine. Weird issue, though.
Gonna buy my PS3 sometime next week; this will be my first “next” gen system. Anything I should like for when selecting the system?
I got a refurb Plantronics Voyager 510 from Amazon for $30 which I love. Works great. A new one costs around $40.
Uncharted 1 and 2, Valkyria Chronicles, and FF13 I guess.
I can’t really think of any other games off the top of my head that aren’t VC and U1 and 2 that I really really enjoyed. I am either growing out of Video games or this generation just hasn’t been my cup o tea. I enjoyed FF13 because I always enjoy FFs and Square has me by the dicknballs.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I actually meant is there anything in particular I should look for when selecting the actual console itself; serial numbers indicating the newest version, etc. Also, I’m probably going to buy it at Best Buy; is it worth it to buy their warranty? I know Sony has a 1yr warranty, but does it actually make sense to buy Best Buy’s additional warranty too?

Sony basically offers the same thing as Best Buy in way of extended warranties, so you might as well buy the Sony policy if it’s cheaper or the same price.
