Going to upgrade PS3 HDD to 500gb; I cannot wait.
I meant to mention that I did this last week (upgrading my PS3 HDD), and be VERY CAREFUL with the screws on the bare drive’s cage, they will strip if you even look at them wrong. I had to use needle nose pliers to get mine loose. But it had to be done, only 4gigs left on the old one. The whole ordeal was incentive for me to go download crazy and I’m currently enjoying the first GTA4 expansion.
But remember, those screws are bullfuck. Even with the right sized Phillips (like I had) you can strip them to the point where they can’t be loosened. Just a heads up.
I just read about sony doing hd remakes. Normally I hate them, but I’d kill for a king’s field collection.

Ouch, definitely don’t agree with your opinion, I love sandbox game play with a ton of extra shit to do on the side. I think Infamous did it with a nice balance, as opposed to Prototype. It’s far from a perfect game however, the tacked on 50ish or so blastshards to get the trophy is tedious. However, since I don’t care about trophies, I didn’t really sweat it. The fact that the game didn’t give you enough XP to max out your powers unless you intentionally failed missions to grind for XP was stupid. Also Hard mode wasn’t really hard but I think that’s just the trend of games now days. Other than that nothing but <3 for Infamous. Great replayability with fun core game play and story.
Also <3 for Yakuza, just beat it. Another sandbox with a bunch of extra shit to do!

Wait, I must not have been paying attention, PS+ incentives get updated every week? I was under the impression it was just every month.
Hell, now I might have to consider subscribing. But will still wait 'til they offer content I’m actually interested in or don’t already own. Hope that annual+extra 3 months deal is perpetual.

In other news, I got Monkey Island SE. It’s fun, but damn if it’s not buggy. Like occassional pauses/long load times between dialogue & system-crashing lock-ups. Can’t believe they could fuck up on a simple point & click game.
Well, I mean like the gow collection and how they made them hd. Supposedly there’s an ico/shadow of the colossus collection in the works.

It’s rumored to be happening in 2011, which makes sense if they’re going to release Last Guardian shortly after. It’d be the exact same thing that happened with the GOW collection.
I’m borrowing a PS3 at the moment from a friend while my 360’s in the shop. Has there been any PSN games released in the past couple months that I could play on stick?

My Dual Shock 3 battery is charged up but every time I hit the home button it doesn’t want to turn on and it only turns on when I have the usb cable connected to the ps3 anybody know what the problem is?
You might have to manually reset the controller by holding the button on the bottom of the controller for a few seconds, then syncing it to the PS3 via USB cable again.
Nope I tried and still nothing it works when it’s connected to the cable but as soon i take it off it doesn’t stay on.
The controller’s battery might be dead. Don’t play with the controller while it’s charging. It drains the battery life much quicker than if you let the controller’s battery drain all the way each time before you charge it.
I rarely played with my ps3 like that so it’s like I used the controller a lot but now since my xbox is not working i’m using it more but i was using my non ds controller and decided to charge my ds3 to play mw2
