I had my blu-ray laser go out on me and a year later the YLOD. You basically got 3 options:
- Send it to sony and pay $150
- Reflow your system my opening it up (or have a hooby shop do it for you)
- Buy a new ps3 slim
Only on the ps3 40 gig system can you actually get your disc back by doing the fan test, fan test then press eject to get your disc out. I’ve had a buddy that reflowed his system, it is not a guarantee to last.
Sony’s custom service is the best service I have ever talked to. When my ps3 YLOD the service rep did everything he could to try to help me out an ended up noticing that my brother so happened to have 5 days left on his limited warranty (blu-ray laser died) and basically just packaged my ps3 has his. I never had to pay to fix my YLOD ps3, though I did for my blu- ray laser dying.

Do you guys think they’ll still be a morality game play with infamous? Considering that the good ending is the canon ending, I would assume that it would build on that… So in the second game you start with the good ending and then randomly decide to be evil?

Yes! They are Awesome! 24 hour turn over, i got my disc back that was stuck in the machine, and their sevice was 100 bucks less then sony and they where faster to. They where super pro I recommend them 100%

Only if the person is casually involved. For me gaming is a process of inspiration and enlightenment. I use not only as a form of entertainment, but also as a medium that allows for me to tap and spark into my creativity. It is gaming that has brought me here to this forum and what lead to my decision for I want to do in life. When I play a game I always use my experience with as how it involves the community, the industry, and possibly my life. As I play more games I am getting more ideas for games to create and novels to write. When I’m feeling stuck or am not in the mood to work a certain kind of game can evoke me to start working again.
Why are you so offended to throw out childish insults. I’m messy too. You could see that if you went into my room, but one of the few things that I have organized is my game collection. You must truly know this yourself. Someone who has deep passion for something most likely takes pride in it and cares for it. There are levels of casual and core. Since these discs/cartridges have this impact on my life as I mentioned above, I will only care for them as much as I would a brother.
If you only play sports and COD-type games more power to you but don’t expect me to take your opinion seriously on anything

Oh, and I picked up a couple VERY affordable ps2 controller adaptors from amazon.com: no input lag on fighters, no lame-ass fragile-feeling triggers for the l2 and r2 buttons, and the much-tighter ps2 analog sticks feel great for shooters like Uncharted 2. No more over-correcting when I miss the first couple shots. Not having a ps button is a minor problem. Why can’t Sony just roll out wireless ps2 dual shocks-style controllers for ps3?
