Yes! Well I wanted to have sit down cabinets, despite some vewlix cab clones that are going to be removed at the store and have old players from the ST era play it, and since the standard for joystick parts have been japanese stressed lately. I could do them in wooden cabinets like Dynamo, but its also the feel and experience of playing with a japanese cabinet head to head as well (not like you cant do it with wooden cabinets). I personally dont mind standing up and installing American parts on it, but the majority of the players in NYC play with Japanese parts nowadays. 
It’s going to run on Mame, but I was thinking it would be used for tournaments for old games. 
Damn I just missed it.

kawaks is so much better. all the games run perfectly at full frame rate even on an older machine. just make sure you get a the game that is dumped for kawaks instead of mame. even if you have the mame rom you need to go get the same game again from a different dumper/uploader.
Got my last cab yesterday…OMG i also tried to tate my Naomi Universal yesterday, that was such a pain the ass…It was nothing like the Astro City…Took my bro & I like 4hrs to do it haha…Then we found out an easier way but oh well…I’ll post pics later…
I feel your pain.
Right speaker on my Blast City isn’t working. It was working when I bought it. I think something may have got jarred loose during the 3 1/2 hour drive home with it. I hear getting to the speakers on a Blast is no easy task. Any advice?
So true, I think the same goes with other stuff. Sometimes I’ll fire up netflix and just spend 20 minutes scrolling through all the viewing options and end up not watching anything.

I was already looking at that exact cab for tekken 6. the site says between $1000 and $1500 plus shipping. did you buy it local or ship it from china? did it come with a special PS3 that runs arcade games? I know its 720p but is it HDMI?

There was a guy here selling a Tekken 6 cab at the trading outlet a couple of days ago…What i want to know is what happen to your Egret 3?
I wanted to buy one but $800 is just not enough for an egret II with no game so I gave up and spent my money.
Egret 3 was sold to a good home.
The Black Storm cab is pretty good so far… I bought it from a guy over here in the UK…

Monitor has dvi and vga… stereo amp in the cab… cga to vga converter which I believe is non functioning…
some other bits and pieces that I don’t really know what they’re for…
I’m not sure what the resolution the monitor tops out at, i’ll test when my hdmi-dvi cable arrives.
i’ve got 1600x1200 out of it with my laptop. can’t be bothered trying to figure out custom resolutions atm.
runs xbox360 and ps3 no probs so that’s fine by me…
i’ll get an Astro City when I have space for more than one cab (I only have Bubble Bobble and Pengo to play)
