Best option for 360 is to get a tri sync monitor with a VGA cable. You can then padhack 360 controllers since they also work natively on a PC via USB. Do some digging. There is plenty of info on the subject.

Hey eva,
That looks so sexy…Do you have room?
What did you do with the Sega Bass fishing CP & did you have the game too?
Anyway, here’s an updated pic of Mother Russia garagecade. I added the SF pinball machine. As you can see i also add some gun action on the showcase cab.

@Rcaido. I still have the Fishing CP and the Game itself. Going to be sitting in a box unless someone wants it.
I be interested in it but was wondering what the hook up would be? Is it straight jamma or do i need a new harness?
Not mine, but the monitor is 24" so it gives you a rough idea.

Hope that helps stir up some imagination (or nightmare!)…
I had an LCD in one of my Blast City cabs for a while. It was quite a bit of work to install, and I ended up hating it. I eventually replaced it with a shiny new CRT.

lol dk in an r-type…
Did you have to make any adjustments to the monitor bezel? What kind of LCD model did you use?
i went to a local pizza place and they were getting rid of a few of their arcade games to make room for some new stuff coming in, and they said they would deliver it for free, so i left with this

What CRT did you get for the Blast and how much do they run? Easy to install? I would like to get a non bass fishing blastcity from the gameroom and it would be nice to know of a replacement monitor if I need one.
I built a custom frame to hang the LCD. I did not make any adjustments to the bezel. The LCD was a 24" Hannspree. It looked great, and my testing showed it had slightly less lag than the Asus EVO monitor, but it had viewing angle issues.

Sadly…if you are getting a Blast City with the factory Naomi monitor, you will likely need a replacement. They are no doubt beautiful, but they have a bad habit of dying, and replacement parts are non-existent. Some people have found ways to take chassis from other monitors and use it with the Naomi tube, but the picture geometry suffers, not to mention they are normally burned in pretty badly.
Try to find a Sanwa PFX 29" tri-sync if you can. If you can’t, X-Arcade sells a couple of 29" monitors that will work. You will probably want to use the mounting brackets off your old monitor, and the tube will need to be set back in the frame about 1/2". It is a bit of work, but it is getting really hard to find the correct monitors for these cabs. Dig and ask around over at ArcadeOtaku.com, those guys are the experts.
My new monitor from X-Arcade.

I still need to modify the mounting brackets, and set the monitor back in the frame so the bezel will fit correctly, but I have been busy remodeling my house.

You wont need to modify the monitor bracket/frame, just reverse mount the monitor to the frame. Use a longer threaded screw and use a bunch of nuts and washers to mount the tube behind the frame…thats how I mounted my trinitron in my new astro city.
It’s sega system type 3. Not sure what you would need. Let me know if you want to trade anything for this stuff. Otherwise it’s going in the closet. You wanna trade for the PS1 supergun ?
oh ok, i dont think i need it right now, i want to keep the super gun too haha
I gotcha
Did some more cleaning, and got a new yen sticker (From Nitewalker) and Marquee printed at Kinkos (From Kyle). Anyone happen to have an extra Toshiba monitor adjustment wire? My cab didn’t come with the wire I need to adjust brightness and contrast and all of that jazz… It’s really annoying playing with the colors off by so much…
Eye Candy:

^ very nice! i want a Candy Cab so bad =( i’m debating on whether or not to wait on a Blast City/Astro City or just get a knock off…
i wish i could find any jap cabinet here in mexico, just common simple multigames arcades =S
Make a trip up to Cali, they are EVERYWHERE there…
Today I found for the first time EVER cabinets like these in Brazil:

I know, the website is in Portuguese, but you can get the pictures.
Still, about US$1,100 each cab. Not for my pocket right now and would need a pretty amount of work just to get rid of that green paint and replacing the panel and parts, which are Happ clones.
