“I did not mount the stick onto the cabinet, havent got the heart to drill anything that is already set, so instead, had myself a piece of perspex which I “strategically” placed and screwed on timber (left overs from the shed construction) which mounts the perspex flush on the under half of the astros control panel. The timber holds the perspex snug so you can actually place any sticks on the perspex and play away.”

Simple and effective. The wooden blocks are not screwed into the cabinet to preserve the shell so I can restore to previous state whenever I wish to.

I have 1 Sega Bass Fishing/Blast City cabinet left for sale. Located in the Phoenix, AZ area.1 is basically a parts cabinet or a real fixer upper, it’s missing the monitor bezel, coin door, marquee plastic and a corner of the control panel is cracked. The cabinet come with the stock sega model 003 wiring harness, 29 inch tri-sync monitor that has a vga input, and bass fishing control panel. No game boards included. Just finished my cab, took forever to get everything together and get proper art. Turned out great though. Used Marvel Vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes art since it was the first arcade I fell in love with, as I rode my bike miles to the mall just to play it.

It supports MAME on the PC, and a PS3 with backwards compatibility and online support. I tried to get as much out of it as I possibly could. Happ stick, and Happ buttons. Art from Gameongrafix.

Yea 23 inch. There’s still plenty of room, I could fit myself inside it still when i need to clean out dust. There’s 5 speakers mounted behind the speaker grill.

Finally got a chance to play the SF pin that keeps coming up in this thread. Funny enough I was pretty decent at it and enjoyed playing it. I’ve been told it’s pretty mediocre in the scheme of things.

yeh gets mad hate online mostly undeserved. i think the main problem people have with it is the awful art. meh i love mine play it pretty much every day
