hey kyle have one you can sell to me?
I doubt you want one. Theyāre garage sale all-stars. The one Iām using is 2.0 GHz with 512 ram.
In related news Final Burn Shuffle is my hero. Its performance on these specs is much better than MAME. Iām rocking some naughty Ketsui. Itās also nice that it can do point filtering with onboard video.
Agreed. I love the filtering options. It looks great even on an LCD. I use GGPO and such and 3rd strike looks fantastic
Kyle youāre tormenting me with those pics, its like the girl i wanted & you ended up getting her & showing her off to everyone.
I was thinking of getting a Versus City Cab, anyone got experience with these?
Which emulator are you using on the xbox1? Are you using 3rd party or official component cables? Did you set the software on the xbox1 to 480p out??
Anyone here know how to link 2 cabs for head to head?
I actually just did this recently. You will either need to make your own custom JAMMA harness to split the video/audio/controls, or get one of these - Sanwa CHS-TS2. I didnāt want to bother with making one, but depending on how good you are with wiring something like this, it can be a cost effective option for sure. That part cost me 10700 yen. On the plus side, it was a breeze to install and also came with a cps2/3 harness built in. Apparently it also works with a JVS interface, though I donāt have anything that leverages this.
10,700 is that including shipping? Where did you order this?
Sorry I missed this. I tried both Final Burn Legends and FBA-XXX Pro. Theyāre at 480p. Itās a third party cable but I donāt believe thatās the issue. After tweaking the settings on the VGA box I got a good picture. My issue was that Iād been playing on the 360 via VGA which gave a ridiculously good looking picture. The VGA box looks like Iām running a slight filter in comparison. I like my pixels extra crispy. Thereās no comparison to the PC outputting VGA with point filtering. Also, thereās Ketsui.
Not including shipping. PM TheRealNeoGeo or see if you can get this part from someone in Japan. I have no clue who carries this - Iām assuming it came direct from Sanwa when Per ordered it for me.
So how much did you pay total?
Finished putting on the āWorldā Overlay.
Super Turbo is now complete!
I donāt remember offhand what the shipping was and I canāt really check on it at the moment. It wasnāt cheap due to customs costs and such. Better to check with Per on that if you plan to order though him.
She is beautiful. I know, because her twin sister lives here.
I really need a 3rd Strike now, yours is making me jealous. And I want it in one of the taller Q-sound cabs with the oversized control panels.
The candies here are making me sad I donāt have at least oneā¦but then I would HAVE to have two for linking.
Watching the amount of cabs you guys turned into mame or console items makes me cry.
My wiring is still fully intact. Buy me CAVE PCBs. Weāll be best friends.
Ditto.
My Dynamo came gutted, so no damage done. My R-Type is still fully in tact, minus the monitor I got rid of due to massive burn in adn not working properly. My vewlix clone was built for console stuff. Nothing has been altered that canāt go back in minutes.
Oh I donāt mind the vlx clones, thatās cool. But turning a candy into a mame or console, it just sits real wrong with me.
Look at it this way. I could be playing Virtua Tennis on the stock Happ panel - or I can play SSFIV on a new, fully Sanwa panel. I intentionally left the internals intact. I donāt have money for arcade boards anyhow.
Feel sorry for these people. Donāt feel bad for me.
Shit, I laughed my ass off with those monsters!
