well i just fired up party poker to see if the new tiling feature is cool or not. quick capsule review is that it sucks, at least at 1024x768 resolution. i had a hard time telling if my cards were suited lol. looks like a big headache.
I like the idea of tiling/ resizeable tables but yeah when i had more than 4 the suits of cards arenât as clear as i would like. Party should sort that.
hm, i wonder if they have the 4 color suits optionâŚ
edit, why yes they do.
last 3 weeks ive lost over 10 million
had to sell my house/car everything
im broke
have no place to live, no money, no family
this is the point where iâm gonna have to commit suicide
aye
fuck.
you try so hard to make things right, that you just get sodomized by partypoker and prima.
LOL
This guys hilarious.
4 colors is your friend. I use it on every site just because I take quick looks.
heh
great to see my misfortune is funny
seriously nigga shut the fuck up
for real i hope your house catches on fire tonight and you roast
lol ya like anyone believes that you lost 10million.
why teh fuck wouldnt u just stop playing if u had that much money?
why the fuck wouldnt u quit after losing 5 million ?
true true
I lost a bazillion playing NL 1000/2000 Go Fish. Fuck that shit. It had to be rigged, they had to have been seeing through my cards.
Phil Hellmuth = Always fun to watch on TV.
Yeah, he was on Game Show Networkâs High Stakes Poker, and got PWNED badly. Not just lost the starting $100,000, but also his first $50,000 rebuy.
BTW, I noticed the pros call with funny hands on that, like 8-10o, 6-4s, etc. Is starting hands on cash games way different than on tournament games?
I hope variance never comesâŚI was pissed about sitting at home tonightâŚbut this made me feel a lot better:

well vic, there are a few reasons theyâd play those hands in a cash game. on the show those players are sitting on at least 160BB and some are even deeper, although i donât know if thereâs a 100k cap per pot per player. this means their implied odds to make their hands go way up. for instance, if i draw a straight with T8 i can win up to 160BBs in that hand. the deeper the stacks however the less you value top pair so a hand like T8 has little value in the way of making pairs.
but if me and my opponent are sitting on 10BB stacks itâs not really worth my time to play T8 because it truly is a bad hand. and the shorter the stacks the more you value things like top pair and therefore a hand like T8 has little in the way of implied odds so most people wonât play it. in most tournaments online youâre lucky to have just over 100BB to start with, forget about what happens when they raise the stakes and your stack hasnât increased. it also helps your image, so that youâre not known as the player who only plays premium hands and always has the nuts.
and good session flip. i went on a similiar tear the other morning for just over 300 in less than an hour. yesterday was a good day i guess. looks like youâre doing well at that stake keep it up.
I been doing well this monthâŚmakes up for poor jan/feb. Taking 5-10 at over 5 BB/100.
Anyways, Greg Raymer is near the top at the 1 mill guaranteed. I bubbled out of a seat to this event, but itâs been fun watching Raymer. around 20 are left. Fossilman if you wanna watch him. Scott Fischman just busted out and neverwin is still in.
QA vs 44
That was sick.
Donât race against Greg Raymer on his site: You wonât win.

Lee Jones [PokerRoom Manager]: 44 beat AQ. Happens, oh, 54% of the time.
hey iâm 8/22 in chips in a stars 20+2 mtt if anyone wants to come rail me. i do not expect to last long, itâs a crapshoot at this point. decided to play some mtts today.
oops, finished 21.
why do u keeps wanting to get railed? does it mean to bust u?
nah when you rail someone it means you watch them play in a game. and for the record mtts suck. and i say that because i donât do well in them lol.
got onto another ft today in one of those 180 sit and goes on stars. i was looking good in chips until i lost a coin flip when there were like 10 people left, but luckily someone else on the other table busted before me. then at the ft someone busted and i snuck into 8th with like no chips left.
now iâm just coming back from a home game, where i got stacked twice for all the cash i have on me lol. itâs hard to take .25/.5 seriously. weird fucken plays go on at the game. i mean some understand the fundamentals but for instance some guy floated me with 66 on a 873 flop when i had top pair in an unraised multiway pot. then he got runner runner and stacked my two pair.
then i got all in with a flush draw (we have mad short stacks) on the flop and villian had the nut draw and i did not have or improve to a pair. and in related news, there are some hot asian chicks that play in this game. good shit.
