hey if anyone is interested, thereās a website called www.liveatthebike.com where they show live feeds of the higher stakes games going on at the bicycle casino, which iām sure some of you are familiar with.
you have to register, which is easy, and the feed comes on at 7pm PST and goes to 9pm. i got around to watching my first episode yesterday and it was 25/50 NL featuring men nguyen. you get to see their hole cards and everything, but the commentators can be annoying.
live at the bike is entertaining, you get to watch people ādonkā at higher limits
watching jerry buss play is toooo entertaining
No itās notā¦heās incredibly tight most of the timeā¦
Watching people like john phan and JR bellande is good stuff, but i donāt ahve time to watch it much anymore.
wow, tonight i found a live game at my college and there was a guy there who made 40k last year on party. i know, modest figure but he says his friend made 40k just last month. and in a related story one of the other playersās dad is a professional player and is a 40k per year grinder. his mom called him on his phone and was yelling at him for playing poker because she doesnāt want him to follow in his fatherās footsteps lol.
These are the hands you dream ofā¦

are you for real making that much??
how come no one else is saying anything? is it because no one believes you?
thatās fuckin crazy to make 600,000??? in one day???
lol great analysis flip.
something like this happened to me the other dayā¦i had 77 and flop came 7 6 6ā¦2 players went all in and i went all in as wellā¦guy flips over 66ā¦that was so depressing
Speaking of quads, the first hand of Hold 'Em I ever playedā¦I had QQ, and flopped two more Queens.
ah was jus tplaying now
flopped quad 9s double my 2k to 4k
next hand flopped quad queens. i was betting big and people thought iw as just trying to buy and then triple my 4k to 12
odds of flopping quads twice in a row: about once in everyon 520 million hands
yo optically,
do you really make that much?
i do well
i won a 200k guranteed and a 500k guranteed last year and since moving up the higher limit games ive been doing really well
people not playing garbage makes life easier
and average day is 2-5 buyins on whatever game im playing
and party poker just crashed while i was in a nice fishy 6 handed game
f me
what kinda 200k/500k guaranteed? NL? or Limit?
man i wish i could make a living playing poker, right now iāve been playing online tryin to make money but i keep breaking even, iām not getting anywhere
im just playing 11 or $22NL single table tournies
where do you play?
the party $11 sngs are dead money, great way to build a bankroll
i always play nl i canāt handle limit
but i play omaha and stud too
playing to make money doesnāt work, play to make the right decision every time.
once you can do that you will make as much money as you want
i play at party poker
what are $11 sngs??
yeah i hate limit, i can only play NL tournaments, preferably single table
but sometimes i hit the multi tables
i suck when it comes to ring games though
sit n goās
1 table tournament
im playing 1/2 on party right now with one of my friends
Bad news time.

If this actually becomes law, get ready to stop playing in your underwear.
āWhatās more, FBI and Justice Department experts have warned that Internet gambling sites are often fronts for money laundering, drug trafficking and even terrorist financing.ā
I couldnt help but to laugh really hard at this. The nerve gas has been funded by online gambling, maybe thatāll be season 6 of 24ā¦
Finally got around to trying poker tracker, it seems to be a very informative tool. Only using the trial version to see what itās like but think iām gonna go ahead and buy the full version soon.
Looking at the hands im winning/ losing with is nice and all but i canāt seem to make much sense of the rest of the stats (Vol Put $ in Pot. Att to steal blinds, went to SD, won at SD etc etc.) Trial version only lets me use 1000 hands so obviously the information wont be all that good but iād like to know the figures that i should be aiming to get in these fields. Thanks in advance.
