you still have no fuckin clue what you’re talking about
why the fuck do you keep calling me an ungrateful bastard???
do you not remember posting this?
and you keep saying i don’t know what i’m talking about, care to elaborate? this looks like somebody being an ungrateful bastard to me.
congrats opticallyinviz, i hope to start a business myself one day with poker winnings.
how about we settle this at the tables
anytime you want itslog, i’ll play you
for the record,
you are still retarded, i have nothing to be grateful for, so there’s no way i can be ungrateful.

I have nothing but joy about the whole JJProdigy thing. Not only did he lose the 140K winnings, he lost the 40K in the JJProdigy account and however much was in “Grandma”'s account. That’s a big big bigtime hit, but it couldn’t have happened to a bigger self-absorbed jackass.
My favorite part of the whole story is how much nuthugging has been going on at pocketfives. Even after admitting to cheating, his nuthuggers were still riding high. Just stunning and unbelievable. Even from the worst poker forum on the net, I wouldn’t expect that.
On the Poker Tracker discussion.
There’s really no choice in the matter. The only one worth buying is the real thing, www.pokertracker.com . Other programs will track statistics as well, but PT is such an industry standard that the poker sites are designing their software around it or redesigning to accomodate it better. The only major site that’s even difficult to use PT with is Paradise these days.
Also, if you aren’t sure exactly what to do with all the information, look into buying the poker tracker guide. www.pokertrackerguide.com . I know the guys who went into writing it and it’s kind of odd how long it’s taken me to get this and get into it. At $20, it’s already paid for itself 10fold in the week or so since I downloaded it.

you’re asking for advice. that’s a time to be humble and not call people and things “gay.”
and i have no interest in playing you for like $10 or whatever you can afford. there’s nothing to settle, just mind your manners next time.
btw, my favorite part about the JJ thing is that it’s starting to come out that he’s about 16 years old.
If you liked the JJProdigy story, you’ll probably like this one too. Well known high stakes SNG player ZeeJustin (from 2+2) has been busted and had his multiple accounts shut down and the money confiscated.

Personally…I hate that guy, and he was nothing but a prick to me in our limited dealings, so today I’m enjoying a little schadenfreude. But regardless of what you think of ZJ or even JJ (damn that kid was only 16? Losing 200K at 16 would make me run into traffic), this is definitely a great day for online poker.
Like they were talking about on 2+2, I hope this leads to kind of a security arms race among the major sites. Shutting these people down is just amazing news.

I don’t like the idea of someone ratting him out though.
There’s a lot more of this going on and it is a little unfair if they don’t bust everyone instead of just the guys who do well.
lol, ZeeJustin. Guy is a monster.
wow @ zeejustin. he’s one of the top internet players out there, why does he need 6 accounts?
yea lee jones himself said zee is banned all the mony he wont in tournaments with multiple accounts would be given back.
I don’t understand why they can’t catch shared IP addressed immediately. When I lived with some friends of mine we couldn’t play in Stars tournaments together from the same apartment, it just blocked us automatically.
Cheaters will become more sophisticated though, playing from the same IP is easy to catch but they could always multi-account with separate IPs, or just collude with buddies.
As a player the best you can do is keep your eyes open. Good old collusion is alive and well all over the place.
i’ve been keeping up with that zeejustin thread on the two plus two forums as much as i can and i saw something interesting there. one person mentioned how there are people who collude in the high stakes pot limit omaha games. now at least that makes some “sense.” in holdem it’s hard to collude but in omaha it’s very very useful if you know 8 or more dead cards. that’s pretty scary.
Just got into poker about 6 weeks back since both of my roommates play it almost everyday. Probably lost about 500 since I have started. Normally about 100 every time I play. It stings but we have a late night game which normally starts right a midnight and usually ends when the sun comes up. So, for eight hours of drinking, shit talking, and female booty walking around my apartment not to mention an actual game I now LOVE to play I consider it money well spent. Straight cash game, buy in limit no less then 20 but people always buy in for a couple of hundos until they go on tilt then usually a couple of more hundos come out Pots normally get up between 1500 and 2000 so it’s all good.
There is this one cat who comes over (outta about twenty people that normally makes an appearance at my place during the course of the night) that nobody likes. He is good but very cocky and the shit costs him. Anyways, my roommate is tired of him so he already informed me that he was going to call him that night on 95% of his betting. Hour into the game, the guy goes all in preflop. My RM calls him… 6,3 off rocks pocket aces. How… He flopped a boat (full house).
Lucky fucker.
That is why I love this game. Shit like that. At least the guy saw he pretty much lost on the flop and did not have it until the river… That eats me up.
wow, after seeing that first picture i don’t think i can stand watching that episode.
dropped a lot of money at the wynn a couple nights ago
crazy
fuck poker.
I discovered a good bonus whoring strat.
Just multi table a low pot limit omaha table because the pots generate mad rake.
Speaking of which, I fucking hate omaha
A situation that has been coming up frequently for me recently and is really bugging me.

On a bit of a downswing at the moment and im running into a LOT of flopped sets and pocket Aces, before my downswing i think i probably follow through with this hand but after a long pause i decided not to put my whole stack in this time and decided to wait for a better opportunity with about $55-$60 left, i didn’t have any kind of read on the guy so i had nothing to help my decision. I’m ineterested to know what other people here do when faced with this scenario?
i think it was a nice laydown considering you don’t have the nuts and are not really risking ur whole buy in on the 2nd best hand in poker preflop. i thought u could’ve been a little more aggressive preflop because if u raise a little more u might pick up a little bit of information. when u reraised and he just CALLED, i would assume he does NOT HAVE ACES. As aggressive as he was on the flop, he would’ve done that preflop. At this point, my guess is that he has AK or AQ or maybe even QQ or JJ. i would’ve called in this situation because there are only really a few hands can beat u (AA, QQ, 88, 33 whereas 33 is UNLIKELY). with the luck you have right now, that was a good laydown. i’ve been in those situations with bad luck and i lose to beats like those. looking at better spots to win money is the best way to go when ur plan is to grind your bankroll up.
No, you call immediately almost every single time with that hand. How are you ever going to get information if you never call? Or if you are that short-stacked, then you shouldn’t be playing in the first place. You are going to get blinded off going that route, and that is a torturous death. Don’t be scared and make the call.
