The Mark Seif thing sounds like bs right now. I’ve heard if icfishies but it isn’t him telling the story, he is relaying it from his friend. And he isn’t posting hand histories or explaining WHY he isn’t posting hand histories.
And then he said his friend signed up for the site again and is playing with Seif again!
It the guy really thought he was cheated he would immediately demand hand histories and post them. It looks weak to me.
The JJ story is interesting. My understanding is that he was caught because he posted to rec.gambling.poker about how we won with his grandma’s account. It did basically allow him 2 tourney entries and rules are rules, but I do feel sorry for him in some way. His two accounts didn’t collude. He had two chances to win but also paid 2 entry fees.
I agree that taking the money away was the right thing to do, but man does that suck for him.
