And I was going to use Pokerstars. How bad were the suckouts?
You should still try it out, its not too bad, but sometimes the suckouts are right fuckin outrageous. Like you could flop a full house, and go all in with someone calling you, and dont be surprised if they hit runner runner for quads. Of course, thats the extreme case, but Ive seen it, and it just pisses you off.
Something I see more often is say you hit trips on the flop, and someone calls your all-in, and they need runner runner to beat you. Theres a good chance theyll hit those runners to make a flush or house or whatever.
All that runner runner reminds me of this episode of WPT:

Yes, the odd for him to runner runner 7 post flop actually said 1/2%. OK, Iâll try it since I know its free. I wonder if it has 4 color deck option. I donât have trouble telling the difference between a spade or a club, 4 color decks just looks cool.
It has the 4 colour deck.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAâŚno.
Against a made flush you still have 10 outs twice. Worst scenario is set over set but if youâre scared of set over set you should just take up tiddlywinks.
I wouldnt play there if they had a 100% sign up bonus. Thats all Iâll say.
Every flopped set I got there ended up being a losing hand to a runner runner flush / straight.
Mike the Mouth has got to be one of the funniest gamblers Iâve seen. Iâm watching King of Vegas, which is a crappy show in and of itself, but he keeps making me crack up. Still rooting for my boy David Williams to win the thing.
Too late. Just signed up, but Iâm only playing the Play Money games.
Hey, I thought Moneymaker was broke. Whereâd he get that entry fee from?
That hand reminds me of a bar tourney I was at recently.
Donkey guys raises to 3xBB in early position, I look down at my cards in LP and see AKo. Knowing he prolly had a weak ace or worse, I re raised him all in for about 15BB total (5 times his bet). He calls with A2s.
Board comes K33, with one heart (one of the threes). Then runner runner hearts to seal the deal. Officially a 9 outer (canât be a king) followed by an 8 outer. Thatâs about 3%.
People at the table all about puked.
hey i have some news for you guys complaining about bad beats and especially runner runners. well thatâs poker! runner runner for the win doesnât happen âall the timeâ or isnât âobviousâ in fact it happens just as much as the percentages say it should, itâs just selective thinking on your part.
You obviously dont play at some of these sites.
oh, yea internet poker is rigged, right. youâre the type who wears a tin foil hat so that men from mars canât control your thoughts right? lol
The fuck are you talkin about? I play just as much at the casino here as I do online, and I havent seen NEARLY as many suckouts there compared to some of these sites. If you dont believe me, download pokerstars and play it for a month, and see how many times you get drawn out by runner-runners.
UhmâŚitâs only because you play a LOT more hands online then you do live. Therefore you get more suckouts because you play more hands. In the long run it alllllllllllllllll events out.
Live play it usualy takes about 3 minutes a hand
Online play probably 1 min a hand.
So of COURSE your gonna get 3 times the suckouts online, youâre playing 3 times the hands! Anyone can easily play a 25 hour live session in about 3 hours online, and youâre gonna get the same amount of suckout hands if you play the same amount of hands online or live.
I realize the different number of hands played online compared to live, but even if you use the 3 to 1 ratio, it seems that youâll STILL get more suckouts online compared to real play, but whatever, online doesnt compare to the real thing in any case.
or maybe he knows youâre a moron whod shove it in on any flop and he wanted value out of his jacks. theres no rule that says he HAS to push with jacks. maybe he thought you had AK and wanted to put the money in on the flop when heâd be a favorite wit no AK while hed be even money preflop.
stop talking about that stupid hand alreadyâŚ
yea take shadyâs response as my response on the rigging thing. also somewhat his second post about my hand. oh and tape, nice for you to come out of the woodwork, but you are proving further the fact that everyone is yelling at me but they donât know what they talking about. of course he doesnât have to do anythign he wants. but the problem is he made two mistakes, and i see where youâre coming from but hte fact is he was very hesitant to call with his jacks, meaning he wasnât âslowplayingâ them for value. peace!
(letâs not talk about this stupid hand anymore, please)
oh and btw, i only play on pokerstars, for about 4-5 months now, itâs the only site i have money on. i think itâs the best site imo.
lol⌠i like how you still think he made a mistake by putting all his money in with the best hand and over 88% chance to winâŚ
just admit that you made a shitty play at the pot, got called on your shitty play, and you got lucky and sucked out, and i think most of us would be satisfied instead of you calling it âjusticeâ.
