Question for Viscant or any other bonus whorer…
Do you find NL or Limit more profitable for bonus whoring? I think I do well enough in both games, and I really don’t prefer either from the other. Although, I’ve read a couple stories on how much easier bonus whoring was playing NL instead of limit. Right now I’m playing 1/2 or 2/4 limit, but only yielding 1.8-2bb/100 profit, which is frustrating.
I know Bonus whoring is supposed to be mostly limit, but I’m thinking of making the jump to NL and was wondering if anyone has ever tried it before.

And IMO, if that was the first hand, I wouldn’t even have gone all in. If a 5, 6, or an 8 hit the river he still had you beat. The pot odds may have not been right for him, but to risk all your chips was pretty wreckless. Plus, it’s Party Poker, lol. Home of suck outs galore.
I qualified up from 5+1. It was an absolutely terrible call because he had only 75 chips in the pot. I’m on a straight and figured him for a high pocket pair when he called. It was an absolutely inexcusable decision due to gap principle. And the lucky bastard sucked out.
Plus I get tired of every other post being from one of the worst players in the forum.

daflipmasta if you are bonus whoring play limit… cause if your bonus whoring your bankroll probably can’t stand no limit. that is madness take the easy way out and do limit. your bankroll will last you while you whore.
I’ve had bad beats, and they don’t bother me. I’ve lost plenty of sit and go’s to bad calls, but this has just really put me off. I qualified thru over the course of two days, and never finished lower than 4th in about 6 total sit and go’s. I was so confident my 5 dollars was going to turn into real money (2000 first, 1000 second, 500 third) that it really annoyed me. At that level I expect good play, and to lose to donkeys is killer. That would have double my stack and basically assured me of making the money. Oh well I’ve been very profitable this month so life goes on.
13 outs, with that all in bet it looks like a scared high pp. I’d call in a heartbeat.

I know the roll can’t handle NL, but limit is absolutely killing me right now. I did the absolute poker reload one and popped in $600, and left with $600. Now I’m doing UB’s first time bonus, and I’m stuck there too early on. I was just wondering if it was easier to play NL cash games, cuz I’m on a brutal limit streak and went from 4.5 BB/100 over 10k hands to about 1.9 BB/100 over the next 3k hands or so.

Now there is $27.3 in the pot, and one person who raised pot, one going allin and it’s to me. I have the nut flush draw, a gutshot, a pair. Now i’ll assume Gman has a high ace (probably a/q or a/k), and the caller to have two pair or possibly a set. So from here, we’re behind both on the turn, but i have the draws.
First off, even defending your blind its questionable to call that imo, you’re putting extra money in the pot to hope you either hit a K3 or you get spades, you were lucky enough to get the spades + a gutshot. now when it comes to calling that, you know your pair isnt good, so you need a spade or a jack, thats 12 outs with 46 unseen cards. so a little better than 25% to hit. pot odds are 9 to win 36, + implied odds, drawing to 2 nuts, you also know Qs might be a dead out if they have AQ. Considering the money you have in as well you should call, though its close enough I dont think either is a particularly bad decision(besides the preflop which I dont like)
why is it possible to multi-table in online poker? isn’t that unthinkable in a live setting, just strategically speaking.
