Mono type at least would be better than fire fighting again. I loved Blaziken in 3rd gen and 4th gen ruined it with that fucking fire monkey (yes I’m still mad over it) now my beloved fire pig seems to really not have much of a place unless its stats are really different than the other 2.
also Feraligatr is awesome. 2nd gen starts I never liked except him.
The only thing they can do to make the Heathog different is make it a defensive fire/fighting which would be pretty dumb.

>Gym 1: Water/Fire/Grass
Whatever starter you choose, you face the type that is strong against you. Every brother has their elemental monkey and another Pokemon of that type. Hardest first gym battle ever.
>Gym 2: Normal
You battle Aloe after taking some tests about food. She only has two pokemon to battle with. Her main pokemon is Buffalon, and he is very tricky to beat.
>Gym 3: Electric
It’s located in a carnival-style top house. You have to answer riddles before continuing. The gym leader is a flamboyant clown character that has three electric pokemon. Was easy to beat.
>Gym 4: Ground
You have to answer questions about minerals. The gym leader is described as a female Roark of sorts. Has three pokemon and uses the mole as her main Pokemon.
>Gym 5: Ice
You have to answer questions about the weather before advancing. The gym leaders are three blond girls that are inspiring music artists (a tie-in to the PokeMusicals probably) and battle you to a 3v3 with Cheren/Bell as your partners. A really cool battle.
>Gym 6: Bug
Just like every other gym, you need to answer questions about bugs before you can get to battling. The gym leader is female and wears a bug costume. Her main pokemon is a steel/bug hybrid, and she has three pokemon. Her gym is located in a gigantic beehive.
>Gym 7: Dragon
You have to answer questions about mythology before advancing. The gym leader is the father of Iris (guess that explains why she is in the game and has a dragon pokemon, and he has a strong sense of virtue. Has four Pokemon and is really hard to beat if you don’t stock up on ice pokemon.
>Gym 8: Fighting
The final gym is located in a football stadium. To get through to the battling, you must answer questions about sports. When you get to the gym leader, he is modeled after an American quarterback. Has five Pokemon and uses some cool new tricks in battle that you haven’t seen gym leaders do before.
