The good or bad thing is that it only gets STAB Dragon… and there are only 2 non uber-Dragons with no secondary typing ,weird…
I like some combinations, like Fire-Psychic, Dark-Fighting, Grass-Steel, Ghost-Fire, and of course Ghost-Ground = no rapid spin for you and Stealth Rocks for me yay!
Also sandbox team looks strong
Tyranitar, Meguroko, Doryyuzu, Ghost-Ground Poke, Grass-Steel(for bulky waters), Mold Breaker Ononokusu yay!
Do you still have to use WEP for DS’ or have Nintendo finally allowed people to use decent wireless security?

Im so on the fence about Gen.5. Some of the pokemon look like straight ass while others look really cool. The Gym’s sound really awesome and unique though. The Gym’s were starting to become stale and formulaic; I’m glad they were switched up.
There’s no dark gym, but whatever. I want Buffalon on my team if I get the game. I’m going to nickname him Bushido

some stats are already going to put many old pkmn out of a job in OU (that mummy one is waving goodbye to dusknoir) that grass/steel is already now going to compete for a spot on my first B&W team.
There seems to be a lot of physical sweepers this gen too. That fire monkey has ridiculous attack. I definitely see him in OU
Things I’m liking so far:
Dageki
Monkey trio (decent stats!)
Warubiaru (decent speed + good attack + Earthquake Spiral = OU)
Denchura (if it has Sleep Powder)
Shanderaa (looks like a good scarfer)
Terakion (good defenses + good speed + good attack + good STABs if it has a good fighting move. typing isn’t too shabby either)
Zeburaika (if there is a good physical electric STAB now)
Hopefully, they will all have good movepools.

Ground/Dark Croc is my favorite Pokemon to use this gen, no contest!
Balrog Bison has good stats! HURRAH!
Wargle has surprisingly decent stats as well!
Power Ranger Pokemon looks like it’s designed to murder people. It’s freaking Gyver.

i do agree! i havent been exited for a pokemon game since gen 2, and there are a lot of great pokemon desing than bad ones, and the stats on most are just in the right place!
Shandaraa is awesome, my favorite so far with Ground/Dark Croc… goodbye Rotom!!
Lot of imagination with the Pokes this gen - great to see a bunch of new types. I can tell I’m going to like the new fossils and the hermit crab w/ giant slab of earth on its back. And that lamprey… a pure electric type with levitate? Can you say “no weakness”?

Ghost Chandelier, mold breaker dragon, dark/dragon (holy god it looks badass), steel/bug pokemon, that electric eel looking thing is awesome too…and sooo many others look great
