The Official PLAYSTATION® Thread: E3 - PS4 Pro November 10th $399

I’m pretty sure Lords of Shadow received a lukewarm reception but I really enjoyed it.

I don’t want no 3D Castlevania. I want a super graphics infinite content version of SotN.

Just make it bigger and better in every way that you can. Hidden stuff up the ass, multiple characters with different stories, enormous castle, JUST MAKE IT ALREADY .

A little off topic, but just give us the Super Robot Taisen/Wars games. The new game on the psp is so dope, especially since I got the 00 crew, but I still wish it was in english. That shite would sell like hotcakes here! As for the lost planet games, part one was the shite, but I couldn’t get into part 2. Luckily, I got them both for ten bucks each(best buy/amazon deals). I ended up giving them to my neighbor before he moved.

I’m probably one of the few people who just flat out didn’t like Symphony of the Night. :\

Then again, I’ve never liked Castlevania games in general. I can see the appeal of them. They just aren’t my thing. Never have been.

RE FFVII Remake: I don’t care if they do. But I’d buy it in hopes they would do an FFIX HD remake. Cause like…FFII, V, IX, X, X-2 and XII are the only Final Fantasys I like or even remotely care about. I hate the rest.

Well, Final Fantasy 8 is good if they had just gotten rid of the 3rd and 4th disc completely and added more to the story so the end of the 2nd disc is the end of the game.

Stop living in the past, man!
3D… IS THE FUCKIN’ FUTURE!!!

Lords of Shadows was a great game with some flaws, but never felt like Castlevania to me. If they would have remixed the NES soundtrack maybe, but it just felt like a good action game.

It didn’t even start as a Castlevania game either, Konami branded it that for sales after it was being made.

It will never happen. The money required for a company to license a non-OGSRW is completely not worth it for basically any and every company.

I never thought I’d agree with you about just outright disliking an entire series of games. I’ve tried to play A LOT of Castlevania’s including the ones all the different fan groups say are the best, and I just never really liked any of them at all.

Anybody falling for this marketing, buy 4 games get the 5th 1 free on PSN?

I only want 3SOE, Blood Rayne, & Payday.

I don’t want another Deathspank, I haven’t finished the one I have. Too much chatty shit in it.
Renegade Ops, doesn’t really interest me either.

$48 for all 5 games with PS+ discount, or $36 for the 3 I would play.

I think I will just stick with the 3 I want.

^It’s just an offer dude, why complain about free stuff? I don’t think I even want that 5th game, so I’ll just get 3 of these discounted ones.
If you like it, get it, otherwise leave it be.

Oh and Castlevania isn’t for everybody, no need to feel bad or ‘awesome’ because you don’t like them.
For that matter, where’s my special offer price/discount for them LoS DLC’s Sony?

Lord of Shadows was good, except for enemy hitboxes. They didn’t sync the hitbox to the animation, so you took damage way before dudes even started swinging. That, and they all had wolvering/yun hitboxes.

I love all the GBA/DS games though, but I understand that they aren’t for everyone.

That shit pretty much made the first 1/3rd of the game extremely annoying. Horrible way to start a game.

The problem is they set the game limit so high that almost nobody will be able to take advantage of it. I could see buy 2 or 3 (3 is like the most anyone will buy, and they know it) get 1 free…

^I see what you mean, but who knows. Maybe future offers will allow you to get a free game for buying 3 (2 is little IMO ^_^; )

So has anyone here played de Blob 2? It’s a platformer with a neat concept: You play as a well blob who must save citizens and defeat an army of Ink soldiers. You do this by first absorbing colors and then making contact with buildings to color them, touch citizens to free them and to defat the enemies you either stomp them (Lock on–>Jump) or body charing at them (Lock on–>R1). It has a nice difficulty curve, but can be rather tedious at times.
It does have some flaws though (like finding every item in a stage ==, but overall it’s a pretty decent platformer.

I have part 1 for the Wii…been meaning to get part 2.

Sucks that the developers, Bluetounge closed down.

Yeah that’s why I brought it up =/
I would’ve liked a Blob 3 so long as they fixed Blob 2’s problems.

you mean disc 1?

erm, that kind of makes me like the game even less

Same here actually, I hated the game from the get go. Reading that was interesting and all but then made me think “now I have something else to complain about”

I absolutely loved the soundtrack to part 1…never finished it tho, lol…some day…it sucks to hear the studio shut down.

well it kind of contributes towards the ultimecia=rinoa theory. it could actually be true though, it would make sense for them not to reveal it at the end. I was actually gonna go through the game at some point because I have it on my ps3, I might just delete it now  the idea has a nasty reality to it that I would prefer not to involve myself with. Final Fantasy

that’s fucking chilling
