Okay guys, I just unlocked the best weapon of all time in Red Faction: Armageddon last night. It’s Pozewolf’s AV made into a weapon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHe0S22d1vQ be sure to listen to the sound effects and to watch the weapon’s animation.
I fucking laughed so hard when using this weapon, holy shit. It also replaced my Rocket Launcher because of how broken it is…it puts the Foam Hand in Dead Space 2 to shame.
I’ve been fiending hardcore for some FF12 lately… Square needs to release the FF12: Zodiac/International version as a HD re-release on PSN. The term ‘hotcakes’ would be an understatement.
Time to see what goodies PSN has in store for us this week.
I love, LOVE, how japanese companies are arguing with people over what they want this gen.
Capcom telling fans they don’t want megaman.
Square telling people that no one will buy a FF7 remake.
Namco refusing to release Tales games (oh wait, Graces is coming out! a 2010 game slated for 2012)
I guess Konami is the only one not being absolutely crazy. But Konami didn’t have anything but MGS anyway.
Castlevania only had the DS games, which they locked Iga in a cage to make. They knew those sold, and they get released every once in a while or however often it takes him to make them with his team of like five people and no budget.
They had the latest current-gen game, which they tried to make into something more mainstream and take advantage of overseas developers at the same time. I liked it, but it wasn’t AAA (not yet at least), and they mismanaged the DLC for it by having it come out six months after the game itself.
No new (main) Suikoden games were for a few reasons-- current gen systems are expensive to dev for, Suikoden has never had that large of a following, series creators were doing some other shit.
They aren’t exactly situations I’m happy with, but at least it is something I can understand.
What the fuck is Capcom doing with DMC? WHY DID THEY CANCEL MEGAMAN?!
A lot of people didn’t like LP2 tho. I’m not saying its a bad game, but it didn’t grab me or anything, and what i did play felt pretty divorced from LP1, a game I loved.
See I felt they fixed every problem that game had, like the mecha being really boring and not fleshed out control wise at all. Bosses and scale was much better as well. Game was just way way more fun, it just had a boring final boss. And anyway, I did say it was commercially unsuccessful, but I really don’t understand why, the game was really solid and alot of fun.
The ONLY thing I could kinda complain about is wanting more Akrid fights.
PS+ has been shit as well the past few months. The free games they keep giving are 20 year old Genesis games, that I already played 20 years ago, and own on Sonic’s Genesis Collection.
Only redeeming quality is the extra trophies you get, since the Collection was only 1 trophy per game, the individual have around 10 or more trophies each.
Kind of funny, even the haters of the FF7 franchise might actually buy the game. I know if FF7 did get remade, my reaction would be something along like, “really sqaure? That’s bullshit. Whatever, I guess I’ll buy it…”
Never played any of the Tales game, but I find it out how Namco just doesn’t listen to the fans because I see a lot of rage relating to them not porting it to America none more.
I wouldn’t mind a 3D Castlevania done right, but they all seem to suck really bad from what I’m told ;_;
