Genesis collection is awesome…really need to get back into that
Also comix zone highly overrated. Way too cheap and difficult to be much fun

Whenever I get the urge to play Comix Zone I put Viewtiful Joe in instead.
The only hard thing about it is that the enemies just block and attack without any sort of block stun at all… then just go back to blocking.
psn updates have been ass past 3 weeks
needs more psone/jap imports imo
I heard the collection will come with a code to download mgs1 off of the psn for free. I wouldn’t buy it if I hadn’t played mgs1 before. Bad, bad idea imo.

DMC3 is only hard at the very beginning when you don’t have shit. Cerberus is stupid unless you pick swordsmaster since Dante can barely attack in the air. After that, the game stayed challenging without getting frustrating.
Dead Space 2 > Dead Space 1 (kinda, but the story is better in DS1)
Comix Zone is stupid. My roommate loves that game, but it is ridiculous that you HAVE to break boxes and barrels to progress, but breaking them drains life. There are also a bunch of other stupid design choices that made it no-so-good for me.
Why? MGS1 is good, but you can still get the story from 2 and 3. There’s enough references in both to figure out what happened in MGS1, and if you really want to know what exactly happened in the 5 hours max of gameplay that it had, find it on the internet.
US got this game this week though

Naw MGS1 should be experienced. I get what your saying but if they are offering it for free then you should play it first. It’s an amazing game. Even if they weren’t offering it for free it’s well worth the like 10 or so bucks they are charging for it. I I might just fire up my PS3 an play it now. It’s still the MG.
I tried to play MGS a year or 2 ago and I just couldnt do it. The game has not aged well imo. Its also the only MGS I have ever finished. I didnt like any of the MGS games after it.
they should have done the HD of the gamecube remake twinsnakes and put it in the collection.

If you have a Wii/Cube, get Twin Snakes…
Plays like MGS2 though, not really like MGS1(I think you can only play Cube games on a Wii with GC controllers)…
EDIT: Also easier difficulty= fucking lie…
It’s pretty hard just like MGS1… the only thing that makes it slightly easier is the technical errors that got fixed(Sniper rifles aren’t retarded to aim anymore making one of the boss battles easier)
Is Twin Snakes like an updated version of Metal Gear Solid? I have a Wii so I could try it out. Is it available for download or do I have to find a Gamecube copy of it?
wow, the staircase stage in Catherine (6-2 or 6-3 i cant remember) just stumped me from the start…I been up since 7pm…lemme get some sleep then try it again lol
so ummm did anyone see the newest trailer for Rage, i mean WOW. i was looking forward to this game, but now im SUPER PUMPED, and probably has moved to a day 1 purchase, which hasnt happened in a while for a game. also newegg has a special preorder with free shipping for 48$

The Spiral Staircase right? That’s stage 7, shit is so hard.
Twin Snakes is dumb.

some those stages you HAVE TO USE AN ITEM just to get past it. It’s the only way.
I beat Cathrine last nite (twice, because I skipted the credits thinking it’ll have a Capcom-like ending, nah, son. “push X” - title screen), and I got the wrestling ending. I don’t see how “freedom” can equal “a bad ending”. I’m already back to getting either a good or neutral ending from other saves. I waited till level 7 to split my “decisions” there, but I’m still going for the Best ending on Normal.
Am I the only one that wants to fuck Trisha IRL? Somethin’ about DAT GLOW-FRO…

Why would you say that?
I liked some of the VA’s more, especially Jim Houseman’s… but the updated cutscenes improved the experience…
Plus I liked the ability to actually aim…
MGS1 is a great game and I like it just a little more than Twin Snakes, but for people who the experience has aged too far for, MGS: TS is the perfect option…
I was hype when they played the MGS2 theme right before the area you fought Ocelot at…
The only thing wrong was the chokehold mechanic and that could be remedied by punching the enemy in the back of the head before running up for the chokehold…
Also @ Dirzzt, you have to get it on disc…
EDIT: They run around 25 bucks used, insanely high price new…
Anyone got that Resistance 3 beta? I’m downloading this bigass 1.4 gig patch as I speak -__-
