yeah i started to hate the parts in brutal legend where i had to leave the car cuz then i couldnt just listen to music
I think that so long as you are close to the car, you’ll listen to the songs, but eh it’s worth it to please the Gods of Metal. \m/
Ha, I didn’t konw I could charge that xD I gotta try this later today! Thank you for the heads-up! Rising Mode is definitely for me. I’m dying too much because I just rush around like a rabbit on coke. I need to slow down a bit and be more patient. After I manage to beat rising mode, I’ll go for Arcade xD
Hmm I’ll have to look up Leviathan’s abilities. If he’s an advanced character, I’ll probably have to wait on using him anyway xP I just started last night and I’m getting slaughtered x(
Honestly, the Agarest games are kinda weird and funky in their own way xD Also, Agarest came to mind first for me since it has an anime style and you had the Genkai avatar xP the gameplay pretty much reminds me of the Disgaea series or even Vandal Hearts. It’s a lot of fun with a TON of unlockables and stuff to complete. Has a lot of replay value as well, considering you can play as multiple characters depending on the choices you make in the game.
I did find Resonance of Fate really odd too, considering you run around with guns and leap superhuman distances while firing like crazy at your enemies below. It’s a pretty fun game, in my opinion xD was really different from anything else I had played before.
If not, Valkyria Chronicles and Demon’s Souls are other great rpgs x)
When I say funky, I mean this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jfFyvxfduo&feature=fvst

I’m actually stuck on one of the stage fights later in the game. I really wish the RTS stuff wasn’t here. I like the game but when it goes all RTS on me I fall apart.
RTS isn’t bothering me much ATM, if you know how to handle certain enemies you can let the other NPCs deal with the rest.
For that matter, Face melter (you can learn it from a stone near the desert I think) can quickly KO the gungirls or normal headbangers provided you can play it in time.
Yea Face Melter is a really good Solo. Also Double Team like…ALL the time. It’s incredibly powerful. Like alone the Razor Girls do meh damage. Double Team with them and they become one of the most powerful techs in the game.
Ha, I wish. I’d be all over a game like that. Unfortunately, none come to mind unless you wanna count something like Afro Samurai, which is a hack n’ slash kinda game. Still fun though. Favorited those vids!
Question: my connection keeps dropping in the middle of games alot and it is starting to bother me, my current internet service is fine from what I have checked and I even had a technician come out to inspect it and there where no problems with the connection, the only problem would the router itself and I had it for about 4 years now, would I need a new one?
Fuck that!
Played Person 3, beat it, got all the social links, all the personas, fought that white hair bitch (secret boss) and played the game on Hard Mode.
I will say, Person 3 was a waste of my 80 hours. Oh, I so wish I can get those 80 hours back and play a game that DOES NOT FUCKIN’ SUCK ASS!! Only reason I kept playing was because my friend is like “OMG, IT’S SO GURD!! KEEP PRAYING!! IT GETS BETTER!!”… the game never got better. In fact, you can say, that game turned me into the fuckin’ asshole I am today.
I’m NOT buying catherine for hope that another Persona game ever comes out (and no, I’m not playing it either).
HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE!!
if you are wired you could take the router out of the equation for a bit and see how that goes, though you’ve probably treid that
@Pozerwolf
Catherine isn’t an RPG
Catherine is nothing like Persona as for as storyline goes either… way more mature…
I’m buying Catherine full-price on it’s own merits…
Atlus makes some immersive storylines, that’s probably the reason you sank 80 hours into it…
Fuck a Persona at the moment, I’m not throwing money at a game that’s not worth it…
I like puzzle games that break my mind in two like Echochrome… Catherine seems like that type of game in addition to having an immersive storyline…
Wow at the persona hate
Especially the post Pozer made about Persona 3, wooooooooooooooooooooow
ive lost faith in humanity
*Persona 3 is my favorite game cough
and fuck that, any one who put 80 hours into a game has no excuse, they liked that game somewhat.
matter of fact, for a first play through and fully completing P3…im willing to bet it took way longer than 80 hours
I can differently say, hell the fuck no.
And I can say it’s one of the worse RPGs I’ve played to date (I tell everyone this).
In fact, it’s the RPG game that made me say “fuck JPRGs” and I’ve yet to play one ever since.
Only real thing that got me going, was my home boy trying to force me to play it, he would watch me play it, and I would make fun of every moment of the game as long as he was in the same room as me. Watching him rage brought happiness to me when playing the game (damn, I think the game turned me into an asshole).
When you get it down and have the right powerups, you can run through levels quite easily. I think in stage 1 I had it down where I always held down the run button, and only stopped for bosses. I got even faster when I started using dodge and all that.
Actually S-Ranking Stage 1 doesn’t necessarily require you to have to beat it as fast as possible, but by taking no or little damage and defeating as many enemies as you can.
Persona 3 and 4 aren’t Persona.
Yeah, they’re just called Persona by the creators…
:looney:
Timing does come into play for the score bonus though, it’s just stage 1 is lenient in that aspect.
