i use my credit card and psn has always allowed me to make exact amount purchases.
i delete my cc info after every purchase btw.

I don’t add funds in the normal menu. I just add the item to the cart and then there should be an option to add funds when it says your wallet doesn’t have enough money. Then it’ll add the exact amount to need to purchase the game. That’s not an exactly accurate guide but how I always do it… dood.
If anyone saw my stream over the weekend, I bought God Hand without having to add funds. Better hope the archive is still up so you can figure out the secret.

No one actually watches the stream Beta.
Only time I’ve been told I had to put in a certain amount of funds was when I got something less than $5 since it was the minimum. And even then I just added 1 more thing to my cart and was able to purchase normally.

As bad as that all sounds it’s not as bad as having to buy secondary currency… like buying a pack of 1000 Microsoft Pts, getting something worth 800 and then having 200 worthless leftovers.
