Aww damn. Guess I wasn’t paying enough attention.
Yeah, I think a lot of us got caught off guard because the U3 beta started on the same day xP It was a pretty tough giveaway to begin with. Chances were pretty slim. They just had a bunch of redemption codes posted up on a board, set to activate at certain times that were listed along with the codes. First to activate that particular code would get in the beta, and there were about 15-20 codes that were available for every hour or so on that timeline. So I imagine it was really difficult to get in that way.
Well that’s stupid.
I am pretty sure that 95% of any points I see when I beat a dead nation stage are from million for the usa
I went ahead and checked out the Welcome Back stuff (yeah, I just finally did it) and I guess I got the games?
I don’t know, it didn’t let me download it, rather it just said ‘successful purchase’ in yellow or something, and that was it.
Also, what’s this ‘auto-fund’ or whatever it’s called feature for PSN Plus? Says something about taking money out of my wallet once the month is over.
How the hell do I disable that? I couldn’t read the full statement because it was cut off and it wouldn’t let me scroll, yet my PSN Plus was already activated, and it tells me this shit after I get it? WTF?!
I dont play games on easy mode -_-
just for that
playing it on hard
If you haven’t been able to download your stuff for some reason, go back to the store and move to the upper right-hand side of the store. There’s 4 small icons up there; choose the 3rd one titled View Downloads. From there, you’ll see everything you’ve ever purchased or redeemed from the store. You can redownload your stuff there. That or you can go to Account Management from your XMB>Transaction Management>Download List(I prefer this method). From there, it shows the complete list of all your stuff just like the store, but without having to enter the store.
The Auto Fund feature can be disabled from here: XMB>Account Management>Transaction Management>Automatic Funding
+1 I could not agree more with this, perfectly put.
I have not beaten a game in the last 5 years on anything less than the hardest mode allowed in the first playthrough. In fact, I am annoyed when you have to unlock the hard playthroughs. It seems forced, for the sake of trophies/achievements.
Such is the case with Uncharted xP You have to beat Hard mode to unlock Crushing.
Yep, it sucks. Castlevania LoS did that crap, too. Which was annoying, because I felt CV would’ve been a much better game if it was a little bit harder. I still enjoyed it, though.
I beat Uncharted before the trophies were patched in. I even got all the treasures. I was pretty upset that they weren’t retroactive. =(
but did you beat battletoads?
@Rampage- IIRC, some older games unlocked a harder difficutly only if you beat the game so…blaming it on Trophies/Achievements is stupid.
Besides this unlock is just for expanding your play of the game @_@
There is no Hard mode, just easy and Normal
though Normal would count as Hard somewhat @3@
Go for it tho and I hope u enjoy the game =) When you get the chick, she can eventually learn Gen’ei-Jin which is useful in that it increases her movement Speed.
Dagda (the big guy) can learn an attack that has him grab enemies and do random stuff to them. Try it out on the giant-type enemies ;3
Ah, thanks for the info!
No trouble at all! Hope it helped x)
I like how they FUCKING FORGOT about Dynasty Warriors 7…
Sounds like I should cash in my free month Plus to try the UC3 beta. I usually don’t play shooting games that much though. I mean FPS really, but I guess this kind of action/shootie multiplayer is similar to that. I suck at team based games like that though, I never really know what I should be doing. > o >
I tried the M&M Clash of Heroes demo, since I kind of liked the older Might & Magic games. It was actually pretty interesting. The battles are basically all conducted in kind of a puzzle game format, which is different. It still has experience, learning new abilities, different kinds of troops and the kind of stuff you would expect from a strategy RPG though. It seems like it would be pretty fun. I would probably buy it, but I feel like I already have too much of a backlog of unfinished games.
What’s Dynasty Warriors?
/trollface
=p~
I saw a printout for some upcoming 24" 3d playstation monitor at gamestop yesterday for 499.00. Any thoughts?
Eh, that’s fair enough I guess. It’s just that I consider both of those to be included mostly for the same reason (which you stated). Trophies are to expand gameplay/replay value, and so are harder difficulties to a degree, at least when they’re unlockable harder difficulties.
I don’t mind it in some games where it’s like, something MUCH harder to the point of almost being inconsiderate, like Dead Space 2’s zealot mode - you know, where it introduces a certain extra element to it, as opposed to “enemies hit harder and take more hits”.
