MVC3 was a complete game. Whether it had everything you wanted in it or not, there are millions of players who feel their $60 was very well spent. If you can find 10 people who were content with their purchase of KOFXII, I will shit a brick of solid gold.*

I played XII. I know it’s faults. Mature having two moves for instance. Yeah, it’s an incomplete package that sure as hell didn’t warrant a 60 dollar price tag. I’m not defending XII at all. My jab at MVC3 was based upon me not liking the game at all after I played it(why I traded it in). I had several teams, several characters that I really liked but I just didn’t enjoy it.
It’s not a bullshit answer. It’s the truth. They’ve shown greed enough already.They want a piece of everything, not just what they get off firsthand sales.
Do I think game designers and game developers should get a cut? Sure. But knowing the companies, they would want 50% or more. Probably up to 70%. This is also why some companies are thinking about making the switch to purely digital.
But how can you dislike innovative gameplay ideas like x-factor level 3 and robust, carefully crafted systems that allow for developing techniques like the DHC glitch, leading to the apex of skill that is the tod combo?
I swear, some people just can’t be pleased.

Yup yup. Controls are fine for the puzzle parts, but straight-up ass when it comes to the “action” segments. I think what bugs me the most is that you have to toggle between crouching/hiding, rather than them just being functions you hold down the d-pad for. Feels unnatural in a 2D side-scroller.
Reading penguin soldier dialogue is entertaining, especially when under mind control. One of them soldiers was just asking to be shot in the head.

And wtf @ Elite. Try people that simply love the game and want to play an arcade perfect port of the game they love. How is that being an elite? That’s wanting the full experience of the game. Not some half-ass carbon copy like the Alpha’s, the Vs. Series and…well…every fighting game, really for PS1. And since most people KNOW the ps1 version of Alpha is not great, most people won’t get it. So don’t even understand why you’re complaining about it. AND by the by, Alpha 3 UPPER for PSP is a worse port of alpha 3 than the ps1 version and not just because of Yun, Maki and Eagle.
Not to mention, people constantly bitch about places like gamestop for borderline scalping people with used games prices and now that companies are making these “online passes”, going digital and the likes to KILL those markets, you bitch and complain because suddenly you want to buy used. Really? Fuck man, make up your mind.
Also, if you crunch the numbers for the DLC that we were supposed to get in MvC3 that’s allegedly in UMvC3 now it would be MUCH MUCH more than 40 dollars.
So just shut the fuck up and be happy.

Word up dude, my moms playing through UC2 right now and was talkin about how Chloe never fucking helps with anything. Just shares credit with you for ally our hard work, then turns on you when shit starts hitting the fan. Elena on the other hand pulls her weight, gets the pkans before even Drakes figured them out, plus shes fuckin adorable.
They would have dedicate time and money to making Arcade Alpha 3 work right on PS3 while PS1 Alpha 3 works natively, no work. There would need to be demand for Alpha 3 and I have a feeling it’s not there. the 25 or so people crying about PS1 Alpha 3 arn’t worth the money spent to make the arcade version work right. If the numbers where there they would have done what they did with 3rd Strike. It’s not like they can just port the PS2 version of Alpha 3 either because PS2 games have input lag on PS3.

Updated Arcade release based on PSP ver. (I recall there being such a version, but correct me if I’m wrong @_@)
