Ovechkin and Backstrom are trying their damn best but keep coming up short. With the Caps being 2-2-2, I’m not too sure how well they’re going to be this year. Hopefully they get back into the playoffs; but the outcome isn’t looking too bright at this current juncture. Ah fiddlesticks.

This almost goes for just about any Washington-based team. Varlamov really needs to get his shit in order; as you’ve wholesomely noted. I’m not even going to start with Theodore either. He pretty much ruined my trust in him last season.

It’s so cool to see a game on TV after you’ve finally been to the stadium; you know all the little extra things they do at the game that you can’t see on TV.
Case in point, I’m watching the pre-game show for Predators-Stars at American Airlines Center. They played Nashville at the game I went to. Ended in a shootout loss, hopefully they can win this one. Dallas has yet to lose a game in regulation but they need to get some wins under their belt so they can catch up with LA.
