The OFFICIAL NFL 2010-11 Thread (including SRK Fantasy League)

Damn you bastard, I was trying to find an av size of that…oh well, I think Scowly will keep me occupied, and I still have the full size in my sig.

good for the Packers…another meh ravens season.

Right now “sportsbook.com

New England – 5:1
Green Bay – 6:1
Pittsburgh – 8:1
Baltimore – 12:1
New York Jets – 12:1
San Diego – 12:1
Atlanta – 15:1
New York Giants – 15:1
New Orleans – 15:1
Philadelphia – 15:1
Indianapolis – 18:1
Dallas – 18:1
Chicago – 18:1

How the HELL does New England have better odds than Green Bay?!

I’m kinda wondering the same thing, can they at least give a reason besides of just simply throwing out odds? I don’t see how offensively and defensively NE is going to be better then GB considering GB did what they did this year with 15 people on IR, and almost nearly beating the Pats w/ a 2nd string QB here. Makes no sense to me and I’m again confused.

They have like a bajillion draft picks. They can seriously build into a powerhouse overnight. They have something like 2 picks in each round for the first 5 rounds. I think they might have 3 in the 1st, including one for the Niners and one for the Raiders, unless that Niners one was already a year ago or something.

I think I was calling the Packers awhile ago. I’m not sure if I said it on this board, but I know I posted in at least one other board that GB is the best team in the NFL and getting shouted down, with people claiming the Patriots, Jets and I think they mentioned the Steelers too as far better teams. I knew the NFC would win again this year…I thought the Jets had a chance to win but once they lost to the Steelers I guess it was over. Ben is as dumb as a plant. It’s kinda funny how these Steelers fans were all arrogantly declaring him better than Peyton Manning.

Oh well, probably no football next year, so we’ll see if the Packers repeat 2 years from now.

wow, everyone is already talking about next year? shit im still relishing in this superbowl victory, i had a blast at work today, soooo many steeler fans came out the wood works in the past 2 weeks, i was getting ganged up at work all the time in arguments, all of them giving me thier praise now has me on fucking clouds, lmao…

Mike Lombardi says they are one DE and RB from a lock for championship game.

Which makes sense. A good pass rush can mask their young secondary, and well on offense they have that guy name Brady.

GB probably got lower odds just because repeating is so fucking hard.

New England also has the road to hell. Packers have an easier road back.

I know man it sucks hopefully we’ll come back just as strong next season

Another Lions fan!?!?! REALLY???

Wooohooooooooooo! I have somebody else to back me up in the next thread !!!

Dude, where’s the original source for your AV?

It’s even posted on the first page. I’ve been a lions fan my whole life. I post it in every NFL thread every year. It’s not easy living in milwaukee with all these packer fans. I gotta give props to the packers for going through such a season and still finding a way to win it all.

Yep and we spygating again so the league is fucked weeeeeeeeeee
(I’m joking just taking a shot at Roger G for attempting to put heat on our coach and detour the media from himself and this lockout that’s about to occur, NOBODY MAKES COACH B DO SHIT SON FUCK YOU TALKIN BOUT)

I felt confident in the Packers, I posted Patriots vs Green Bay multiple times in this thread so I got it half right lol

The Greatness of Scowly will never be beaten.

I hope Rodgers talks to Brees about post-Super Bowl stardom. Brees strikes me as a great community guy that hasn’t let his fame go to his head (no half-naked GQ spreads, that’s for sure). Rodgers is still young, single, dates various models and Hollywood starlets, and lives in CA; I really, really hope Hollywood won’t go to his head.

EDIT: If anyone caught Rodgers on Letterman last night, he threw a subtle dig at Favre “I was the guy taking all the snaps in the off-season, he was the guy taking all the snaps during the season”. A subtle dig at Favre’s notorious off-season/training camp practice habits.

I saw that, and the host was like “we saw how that worked out”, lol. man i dont know why, but this superbowl win really really makes favre look bad, i cant link why, but i just have the feeling it does.

Even with this SB win Rodgers still can’t hold Brett Favres jockstrap imo, no matter how “elite” of an QB he is right now. I’d like to see what he does over the next 10-15 years though to build his case against Favre. He’s definitely taking it there, whether he says it subtly or not.

edit: Patriots are gonna have a beast ass draft, I love the Pats but…I hope the Chicago bears have a better one, heres hoping they draft players for the O-line…

The only thing Favre has over Rodgers is time. In every metric and statistical catagory worth exploring, Rodgers > Favre.

Favre holds the all time INT record, so yes, him and Rodgers should not be compared. Plus, he did it in 3 years and it took Mr Critical INT 5 years. Favre is the most overrated QB of all time
