But we had to get rid of Asik and we dumped Lin on LA. The guy can’t play D and he turns the ball over too much. He could’ve been good with the right coach, but LA just got rid of that right coach and essentially took that poison pill off our hands.
Those contracts we made 3 years ago that everybody was claiming would be unmoveable? We traded them and took nothing back in return, earning trade exceptions for both and a better pick than the late 1st rounder we had.
Our bench looks weak right now, for sure, but I highly doubt Morey’s done making moves. Morey’s acquiring assets right now in Adrien, Dorsey, and a Greek player whose name I can’t remember right now. He’s set his sights on landing another player and these new signings are probably to help facilitate matching salaries. Houston didn’t like losing Parsons, but nobody is in panic mode over here.
20 is 1/5th of 100. No need to skip on the next fraction to make a point. Especially when you already mentioned the two whole numbers associated with 1/5th being 20 and 100.
That was my hope when D.Rose went out with his knee injuries the last two years. Players get good without him so adding him back when healthy will allow a better team. But that hasn’t worked out that well. Hopefully it goes better for you.
Oh this could be a GLORIOUS season. Time to buy dem tickets. I stil lcan’t find a damn Hornets fitted @ 8 or larger though. Gonna have a bother geta t-shirt and turn that shit into a LBJ headband…
man what? you GOT him because he chose to go to the heat and form a big three to get rings.
23343432 ppl instantly became heat fans and rode the bandwagon until bron said he was going back to the cavs. those are the majority of the ppl that are “mad” at him for leaving…which is why a lot of us that are fans of other teams don’t sympathize with you guys at all. lebron did what he felt he had to do. like he did the last time when he made the decision. thats a grown ass man and he can do what he wants. it didn’t work out in the heat’s favor this time around. on that note, it took me awhile to “get over” the decision and how he played ny…but again, thats his decision. we don’t have a choice other than to accept it. he didn’t want to play for the heat anymore. it is what it is.
but walked out on fans…? the same wishy washy ones that all of us saw on tv leave in the middle of games? the same ones that barely showed up to an ALLSTAR team that basically fell into your laps? the same ones that had to “fan up?”
like son said, four finals, two rings, you guys should be grateful. you’re good.
lin was so called 85% and sat out during the playoffs. we didn’t give a fuck what he did after that. don’t believe whatever espn tells you about that shit. ANY fan of ANY team with a half decent player that sat out like that would be pissed.
unless you’re chicago, i guess. i don’t know wtf they feel about rose but we would be pissed in ny. lin was a fraud and we knew it. after he got exposed he sat his ass out to get more money and we saw through that. i’m glad, and have been glad that we didn’t overpay to keep bandwagon fans in the seats for a mediocre player with a heart that pumps sugar water.
heat about to drown in tears of mediocrity for decades to come and the only reason why SOME ppl are bitching is because they know it. fuck the heat with or without lebron and when we whip your ass in the regular season, as usual, remember what i said.
i promise you if phil keeps doing positive things and does enough to help us get to the finals in the next 3-4 years…on God you won’t be able to tell us shit. let us somehow some way win a ring in these next 5 years, i promise you i will bring all of the shit we got from the last 324432 decades from everybody up and all of you haters can suck NY’s collective phallus.
praise be to ALLAH.
i’m calling every last non believer i know from my grandma to old coworkers to these fake ass nyers rocking lakers and heat shit to ppl on the net.
phil make it happen.
oh and the ppl that jumped ship from the knicks to the nets…we won’t forget that shit at all. oh no.
What happened to this thread…I dont even know…niggas argueing about grown men like they know em. Its like I walked into a barbershop/beauty salon where bitches talking about Housewives shit. Cut that shit. Let your testicles hang.
Heat will be fine. Sure I’d have prefered for LBJ to stay, but I’m not salty…they won a chip without him, and though they’ve had rough spots, they’ve been a solid organization since Zo was there.
They overpayed for Bosh - no question, but not having LBJ on the books allows them to fill in for him nicely. Still think they could really use Nate Robinson, he’s so underrated as a microwave, but frankly speaking the whole EAST is going to drown in mediocrity. The only way the East can get a come up on the West is if things like Durant coming home to Wiz happen, and that will e just as much the Wiz improving as the West weakening.
Do I think that will happen though? Naw. There are just too many established franchise and well-oiled machines out West.
I’m not even sure Phil is gonna stay in NJ for 5 years.
Isn’t Phil still fucking Jeannie Buss and that’s why her brother didn’t want him to be coach or some shit? I forgot the whole Lakers incompetence thing but I heard the reason he wasn’t hired was spite or something petty.
Either way, Phil switched teams before and he’s getting older plus if he still banging out Laker royalty… I wouldn’t be surprised if he retires before he fixes Ny’s train wreck.
