The same rhetoric can be used against your argument. Heat no longer have a LeBron to depend on, becoming a more balanced lineup in the process without single reliance. Bulls are bottom of the league offensively. Pau improves that, but makes them a slower team reliant on their bigs. This current league doesn’t fare well for those kind of teams.

I actually think Kobe has a considerably greater legacy at this point, and I sincerely doubt LeBron will get to his level. Also in a lot of the comparisons Kobe wins out. I mean if we compare their wives, Kobe really wins by a landslide.
Not surprised Wade took a 2 year deal (with opt out) at less money. This is the third time he’s pursued a contract similar to LeBron’s.
Based on what I’ve been reading, final 3 spots will go to amnestied Boozer, Brandon Rush, and James Jones. If they can’t get winning bid for Boozer, they’ll settle for another year with Oden and make him part of rotation.
Bulls has made some good moves to put points on the board. McBuckets put up 31 in the summer league and hit 5 threes which was a weak point for us last season. So he should fit in fine. Kirk Hinrich could always shoot the ball as well and the Bulls resigned him.
Basically we added some shooters and should be much improved. I wished we made a play on Lance Stevenson because he could really completed this roster but it’s looking like that won’t happen. Oh well I like Jimmy Butler.
From what I’ve read Wes and X might be coming back plus Wes has been working out with Kobe again this summer. We still have about 2.4-2.8 Mil to spend and the room exception as well around 2.7M. I think we might be going after the just amnestied Boozer as well Kevin Ding wrote a story about this right after the season ended it could be the reason we didn’t do a Pau S&T.
