finally beat the game. color me unimpressed with the ending.
Join the club, I didn’t think I was going to be disappointed, I leaned on the idea that maybe people got the bad ending which is why people hated it and they didn’t realize there were other endings.
I was wrong, it just sux.

^Nope. ME3 is still worse.
It honestly does help if you think of Mass Effect 3 as a 40 hour ending. It doesn’t excuse the last couple of minutes but at least it makes more sense as a game that way.
So… because Bioware lied and you can not actually get 5000 EMS (for the “perfect” ending) without multiplayer or an iPhone… I have started to play multiplayer… even though I’m terrible. But I’m playing a human engineer, I pretty much run around with tech armor on and my geth plasma shotgun… of course I can’t play above bronze because I’m really bad but at least I’m able to have fun because on Bronze we all know we suck and I don’t feel like I’m going to shoot my team in the foot.
am I missing out by waiting for BioWare’s response to the fixing the ending before buying ME3? I’ve just about had enough of ME2 (3 playthroughs and getting all achievements will do that to you, haven’t bought Arrival) so I really wanna move on to part 3. I know the ending is ass and I’ve already spoiled myself a couple of major plot points about so and so dying in order to understand how unnecessarily controversial this game is, so I just wanna make sure I’m not totally missing out on stuff like the great MP ME3 has.
ME3 is an awesome game (unfortunately you spoiled your self regardless) its just the ending that’s bad so don’t count out the game itself.
yeah, I never really cared much about spoilers anyway. if it happens, it happens, and I’m gonna find out sooner or later anyway.
I’ll probably pick up ME3 this weekend if I’m bored with Marvel 3 and too lazy to learn BlazOrange.

anyone try a cryo + incinerate quarian engineer? It’s weird but I really like it. I tried the flamethrower turret during the demo and I thought it was okay back then, but this just feels fun with the synergy between these too skills. I really think cryo blast is really underrated since you get the 2m radius upgrade, the damage upgrades allow 25% (50% on armor) damage increase to the enemy while the debuff is on with a pretty noticable slow. Quarians don’t have anything against shielding though, but the burst should be enough to handle it or just have someone else handle shields while you try to setup for a huge armor strip. Against Armor this is really great.
Sort of sucks I can’t play more of this game because I always leave my stuff back at home everytime I go to school. I still need to beat the single player, since I feel I played the multiplayer too much, though I have heard bad things about the last portion of the game so I’m in no rush honestly. Especially with rumors of dlc around.
One thing I noticed about Multiplayer is that you have to make your different characters fill a role more. It’s much more difficult trying to make a “jack of all trades” character than you’d think.
I would say go ahead and pick up ME3 when you can.
I’m having way more fun with the game than I thought I would be having. Just sucks the ending is THAT bad, but oh well.
Haven’t completed the game yet, on mission 4 but doing some of the side quests. I’m kind of surprised that the DLC mission is just that… a DLC mission. Playing it, the missions seems important as fuck to the story.

I don’t think I’m ready for Gold yet. I beat Silver, but only once. I need to be able to beat Silver consistently before I move on. I guess part of the problem is I’m still experimenting with the classes. Human Vanguard is great, but I like the Turian Soldier as well. Sucks he can’t evade.
